  First of all, we have to say that the staff was unbelievable!! All of them were extremely friendly and extremely helpful as we had lots of questions and requests. The room was exactly what we needed…no complaints. We stayed for 2 nights and you cannot beat the price. It was very quiet inside all the hallways and doors, so I knew I would be able to sleep well. Safe. We had a key to get into the building later in the evening. The evening staff worked very hard to print out a ticket for us. He was very kind to do so. Polite, honest, hard working. The mini frig was a wonderful item, as was the hairdryer. I would gladly recommend the Hostal, especially if you want to be in the center of Madrid.

  Great location, just two blocks away from "Puerta del sol" and "Plaza mayor". Clean rooms and bathroom at a great price. Public parking is just 1/2 a block away. It's a great base location to walk around Madrid. Senora Remedios and Mr Vicente are the very friendly couple that runs the place.
