Never fe - The hotel is quite innovative and nice. The shower is very good, the breakfast included is quite nice, the 24 h coffee and tea, the location, the kindness of the staff and the design make this hotel a great choice in Madrid. If you like late breakfasts, Artrip let you eat until noon...   The location was right down in the city and close to many sights. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the building was of the old architecture, which was charming. The rooms had a television, phone and plenty of bath linens. Jimmy and his staff were always very helpful. We would recommend Hostal Sardinero to anyone wanting to stay right in the heart of Madrid. - Superb location in beautiful side-street within easy walking distance of all the major sights. It was lovely to feel that we were in the heart of Madrid. The staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us a warm welcome even though we arrived very late after a delayed flight. Room very comfortable. There was some noise on Friday and Saturday nights from people in the street but no traffic noise.

Breakfast was till 11am (super late compared to other places) and was simple but fresh and delicious. The room was more than we had hoped for.
