  I can't fault the stay we had. Staff are uber friendly and very helpful. The location is brilliant and in walking distance to everything.   Communication beforehand was very good, both on the phone with Elena (I assume) and Luis, who showed me into the apartment, and who really remembered to tell me everything that I usually forget about temporarily when checking into apartments, like internet passwords, keys, and where to find the next supermarket.   The location is great, clean lovely rooms at the 4th floor. Staff always pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Reserve a room at the 4th floor facing the back large patio. Otherwise rooms facing Calle Cruz are very noisy until 5:00 AM mainly on weekends.   In early Aug 2013, it was very hot in Madrid. I arrived to find there was no aircon in any room due to a generator failure. Too tired to relocate I stayed anyway. It was a very hot and uncomfortable night. The following day, management were quick to apologize, gave the first night free and upgraded my status to include b'fast for all 3 mornings of... what people say » my stay. Bravo! If this is an indication of Eurostar policy, I am impressed. - Hotel is renovated and is very trendy, our room was good and clean. Cleaning was done well. We had no problems at all. We didn't take breakfast so cannot comment on it. It is well situated, with a tube stop just 3 minutes walk from the door. All major tourists sites are withing walking distance, Plaza del Sol only 5-7 mins away (Prado musem is about 15-20 minutes, so as Plaza Espania).
