  yes about the price it was a promotion no refundable but to find such an hotel directly in the center with a parkcar at 100 meters ,very very clean without air con but a fan ,you had to look for it was SUPER!! - The staff was great.   A superb city centre location, just off the Plaza del Sol, with a Spar convenience store opposite. Plenty of communal living space, and the bedrooms all a good size with wardrobes and hangers. We didn't get disturbed by the outside noise as the double glazing is great (and we're from London, we're used to it), and the air conditioning is present ... what people say » in every room apart from the single bedroom; although if you keep the door open it travels through. A proper size fridge/freezer and a great shower is - The location was absolutely perfect. Everything was clean and well presented. The apartment was also a lot bigger than we expected. Very friendly hosts.

  Central position was superb for bars and restaurants and proximity to Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor and important sites, and only a few minutes walk from the metro at Sol or Sevilla. The rooms were spotlessly clean and modern, evidently very new. The shower was something you would expect to see in a 5 star hotel (although the shower cubicle was p... what people say » erhaps a little small to really appreciate it!). I would never have expected to find a largish flat screen TV, quiet and efficient aircon, fridge, hai - You can't beat the location. And while no hotel costing less than a fortune is totally quiet, I was pleasantly surprised at how relatively peaceful Madrid City Rooms was. The double windows did not block out all of the cacaphony outside, but they did a much better job dampening it than I expected. The man at reception was very friendly, and anyone with even a little Spanish language ability will appreciate his warm personality. Don't be put off by the rooms with their bathrooms down the hall...
