The apartment was clean and modern in addition to the staff being very responsive. At night there is a lot of noise outside, but the windows are amazing at keeping all the noise out. Shops and restaurants were close, I just would have liked a metro stop a little closer, but really every major place you would want to see is accessible by walking. Loved having a washing machine and great drying rack.

Very nice situated in the centre of Madrid, close to the metro "opera". Shops and diner places nearby.
It's a small room (not to small) but if your main goal is to discover the city, who needs a bigger one? The shower was great.
The personnel is realy friendly and speaks sufficient english.

Location was great - in the historic city centre, you can enjoy a walk to many places of interest. Opera metro station is just 1 minute from hostel. 24 hours supermarket is almost next door. My window was on pedestrian street Arenal, where people are walking all night long, but it wasn't noisy, I easily fell asleep (with closed window). Very safe district of Madrid. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I checked in at night and man didn't speak english, but it was ok for checking in, showing my
