  Location was fantastic, read alot of poor reviews before visiting Sant Carlo but it was perfectly fine. My partner and I had a double room with our own bathroom. Wasn't huge but had shower, sink and loo. Flat screen TV on wall, stand up fan provided. Was able to use hostel facilities after checking out, shower etc. Friendly staff that speak good E... what people say » nglish and are helpful. The Hostel is on the 3rd floor of an apartment block, easy to find, buzzer at main door. If you're not looking for 5 star luxu - Excellent location, everything is near!!! welcoming guys from reception!

  Great place. Alfonso was the lovliest man, & a good looker in his day as was his sister. They were lovely. Beautiful old building, very chicly decorated. Loved it. They didn't have our booking recorded but it was no problem for Alfonso. - You feel that you are actually living in Barcelona, it is a nice flat.

  We stayed in the huge attic apartment on the 7th floor of a fantastic old building. The location is central for sightseeing, shopping and eating. Metro stop is right below and you'll are next to very nice El Born and Barrio Gotico areas. Las Ramblas street is not far too. Our apartment and bathroom were nice and clean and the kitchen was good too. We were welcomed by Virginia and all here advices for our 3-day visit were great.
