We were happily surprised. It is a low profile hotel. No grand entrance, but home like. The room was spacious, clean, newly styled, comfortable with a wonderful balcony view of the city. The hotel is about a block away from a beautiful archway and walkway, not covered on the bus tours. The neigherhood is safe and there is life going on up until 2:00 a.m., but it does not disturb the guests. We loved it. This hotel can accomodate those with who walk with a cane/walker. as great from the outside as the hotel but we were very impressed when

Absolutely perfect location in between the beach, harbour and el Born, and a 10 minute walk to la Rambla. Very clean hotel, great beds, spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, friendly and very helpful 24/7 reception. A really small business with only about 8 rooms. Really friendly staff, very welcoming and explained everything when we got there. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. The room had double glazed doors so there was hardly any street noise and the building itself is gorgeous!
