We were happily surprised. It is a low profile hotel. No grand entrance, but home like. The room was spacious, clean, newly styled, comfortable with a wonderful balcony view of the city. The hotel is about a block away from a beautiful archway and walkway, not covered on the bus tours. The neigherhood is safe and there is life going on up until 2:00 a.m., but it does not disturb the guests. We loved it. This hotel can accomodate those with who walk with a cane/walker. as great from the outside as the hotel but we were very impressed when

Absolutely perfect location in between the beach, harbour and el Born, and a 10 minute walk to la Rambla. Very clean hotel, great beds, spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, friendly and very helpful 24/7 reception. It's perfect for a city trip due to its location as you can easily go home, drop off ur stuff and head out again. Also awesome for going to the beach which is merely a 10minute stroll away.
