  The hotel was very clean. Rooms were bigger than I had expected and they did have air conditioning. Bathroom had large bath with shower. Towels and bedsheets were changed daily. The pool and hot tub area on the roof was very nice and pleasant. - Great Location...close to the Metro Stations and wonderful places to eat!Far enough from the busy ce... what people say » nter yet close enough to many of the touristattractions!!   The Ciutat Vella was perfect, The staff were friendly and very helpful, i especially like the fact that they have a fridge full of bottled water in reception and you can just help yourself, There is free internet and you can print off anything you require free of charge. The room was perfect, comfortable, air conditioned, lcd tv, and a Power shower... what people say » which was great for waking you up in the morning - Bright, light, pleasant design. Very friendly staff. Free wireless Internet access; where low signal, hotel staff provides a network cable, there is an Ethernet outlet in each room.   The Catalonia Avinyo's staff called us a day ahead, informing that Catalonia Avinyo was fully booked so we were changed to another hotel in the same network called "Catalonia Port" and I really recommend this hotel!! Very new, very clean, very comfortable!! and it's near the port and Columbus Monument. That's mean you can start walking from the beg... what people say » inning of La Rambla!! and it's near the metro.. - What a gem! Catalonia Avinyo is a great place to stay while in Barcelona. The modern decor make it very comfortable and chic. Also, it has an excellent location. Very near everything. If you are a first time tourist or a frequent visitor you will be satisfied with this hotel. An added bonus is the restaurante across from the hotel El Gran, it is wonderful!

  we received a great discount for staying more than 3 nights, the room was high above the quality we paid for, the staff was very nice and was happy to help. the terrace was a wonderful addition to the room, and we only had a 10 min walk to subway or bus stop. - Totally value for money.
