The hostal is just 2-3 minutes walking distance from the center of the city.
The staff was speaking english and they were very friendly (they even called for us to book a flamengo night as we don't speak spanish).They offered us free coffee and cookies every day.They kept ur luggages safe and secure in the room for hours after the check out without paying anything.
I strongly recommend this hostal if you want an economic,friendly,nice decorated place to stay in Madrid!

The woman at the front desk was very nice and accomidating. The area was perfect. Shopping is wonderful if you walk around the area. The metro is literally a block away (which means a short 45 second walk). We found the area ideal, as we would hop on the metro and see all the sites. Sleepy Moon was the first place in Spain where we stayed during our first journey to this country and it was really a good start. We were met by Rocio and she was very friendly and supportive. The location is wonderful right next to Gran Via and close to the main attractions. The manager, Rocio, is a wonderful person. She let her stay in a spare room before check-in (we have two young girls and they were really tired) and let us check-out late at no extra cost! She's a wonderful person in general always willing to help with directions, phone calls and whatever you may need.The place is an excellent value for money and I'll recommend it to everybody.

The Apartment was in the center of Madrid. Easy access to the transpotations and everything you need. Super clean and tidy. very nice decore and furniture.Once you enter this Apartment , you just feel like it's your home. Highly recommended. The owner was not speaking very good english but she was super nice to usand had a great smile. -
