Friendly helpful staff, lovely room, well cared for ancient building and gardens, great restaurant, buffet breakfast one of the best I've had.
We went in the off season - Dec 2013 so had substantial discounts.
We'll go back again at this time of year.
The staff also made sure we got to the Alhambra on time - the palace has strict entry times. We would have missed it without the front-desk staff organising the visit for us.

Absolutely fabulous - we loved everything about this hotel - perfect location - direct view of Alhambra from our windows- wonderful friendly & helpful staff, rooms superb. This was my second stay at the Melia, Granada and was very satisfied. Our hair dryer was not working and when reported was rectified immediately, showing attention to detail. Design and look are very classy with a pinch of pink for the energy. Room was very comfortable with fluffy fluffy pillows. Location is excellent as it is city centre, practically a few steps away from the main attraction. Wifi is super fast and with a very good coverage throughout the hotel. We loved our time at Gran via 44, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the suite itself was top class, clean and beautiful, heaps of room for the whole family, they helped us with parking also which was excellent. Our unit was a 2 bedroom apartment that was Clean, Modern and Large!

We liked the modern style of the rooms that were nice and clean. Beds were comfy and it was nice and quiet. The staff were so helpful and efficient. Shame we could only stay 1 night. Wish we had stayed longer.
