  This hotel is excellent! We were 2 girls travelling together and felt very safe in the area. The hotel room was spotless and so comfy. We had a room on the 2nd floor facing Grand Via. We loved seeing the action, but when we didn't want to hear or see it, the blackout blinds and sound proofed windows worked perfectly! I ca - If you want a downtown location in the heart of the city this this is an excellent place to be. The hotel is small but very clean and tidy. They provide a free welcome drink in the roof top terrace. There are electric shutters on each windows to stop light and also reduce street noise. Hotel and rooms are very clean. Staff were fine. Overall, nothing exceptional but it served its purpose well enough.

  The location of the hotel - I was travelling with a suitcase and the hotel is literally just around the corner from a metro stop. The staff were very helpful - very centrally located for main attractions. - Amazing location, friendly staff who provided any assistance required regarding directions etc. Basic but comfortable room.

  This is a great place to stay as it's in the centre of Madrid. Great for shopping, museums, eating and close to the gay area. There is a McDonalds right under the hotel and a Starbucks across the road, the windows in the hotel were extremely well insulated, you cannot hear the traffic (or hookers below) once the windows are closed.   I am so glad to say that everything about this central accomodation is absolutely perfect! My girlfriend and I arrived on a Thursday evening by Metro, and after some time fumbling around in the Gran Via area we found this gate (number 50) right next to Geox shoe store. It is on the 5th floor but don't worry because they do have an elevator. The place was recently renovated so everything is new, modern, and beautifully decorated w/TV and nice quiet a/C. Even though it is on a very busy main street, my room #12 was quiet because it faced into a courtyard. Wi-Fi was free and worked great. The location could not be better. I could walk to Sol, Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace and gardens, Plaza Espagna, and the Opera house. The

  I liked the location of the hotel as it was in the middle of Gran Via, opposite Callao Metro and approx. 3 minutes stroll from Gran Via Metro. Both lines were what I needed access to for each trip I went on. The room was very clean and the staff changed towels daily which was nice. - Excellent location - right in the heart of Madrid.
