Apartments highly recommended. We got a very warm welcome on arrival from the owner, who gave as area maps, marked important things like supermarkets, pharmacy, metro, shops, places to visit e.t.c.
Staff is always willing to help.
We were allowed to check-in 1,5 hours before stated time (just let them know what time you expect to arrive).

The staff was super friendly. They make you feel very welcome and give you many advices for your daily schedule if you ask. Arco youth hostel was a fantastic place to stay. The manager was
absolutely wonderful and helped us whenever we needed anything - from
maps, restaurant suggestions, anything at all. There were many reviews
that said that the hostel was difficult to find, but we had no problem
finding it at all. It's right off of la Rambla and right around the
corner from Starbucks! Great hostel and I'd recommend it to anyone.
