  This is a charming small hotel in the center of the historic part of Seville. The room was a little small but it was well decorated and very clean. To reach the hotel, you have to walk from a nearby taxi drop off point....don't try finding this one on your own. The street is so narrow that you can touch building on opposite sides of the street. ... what people say » Once inside, it is an oasis of charm and grace. - I visited the Cathedral and Alcazar and best of all the flamenco show at the local talbau ( which my taxi driver recommended ) I loved my room, very comfortable and the ease of having breakfast at the hotel. I loved everything about this hotel, it's location, it's friendly and helpful staff and the quiet yet central location. I could not have stayed anywhere more perfect!

The roof top terrace gives you the best view of the famous Giralda clock tower of the Cathedral. Breakfast in the morning and drinks at night are served on the roof top terrace. The sangria there was the best I had on my trip to Andalucia. On the door of each room is a city scene painted by a local artist. The service is extremely helpful and kind.   Excellent location in the middle of old town. Short walk to Cathedral and Palace Alcazar. Next to tapas bars. Check Teresa bar opposite for delicious tapas and try local 'tinto de verano' drink which is a mix of wine with lemon. The hostal is located in a very old house so ready for a piece of history. Place is clean and quiet, friendly staff. This place has - The place had loads of character, we loved the quirky shapes and designs of the place and our room was delightful, and there are some lovely public spaces. The location was absolutely brilliant, right in the heart of Santa Cruz and close to the cathedral. It was amazing to get such good value accommodation in this spot. The staff were lovely, and we really enjoyed our stay here. The facilities are basic, but for people on a budget, the Vergara is a cut above.
