My wife and I stayed at Pensio Torrent for three nights. The Pensio is run by a mother and son and is exceptionally clean if basic. It is a terrific value for under $40 per night. We stayed in Room 203 on the top floor, with a small balcony overlooking the street. The nights were quiet and peaceful, with any noise (if there in fact was any) sealed off by the well-fitting double doors. The "action", such as it is, in L'Escala is just a couple of blocks away, as is the beach, but for us the real . all reviews »
We were met by a lovely lady after a long bus journey and were able to check-in already at 10am. Throughout our stay she was very helpful with everything altho our Spanish/Catalan is very basic!
Our bedroom was lovely, had a small balcony with a view over the street and church. Waking up to a sound of church bells and cockerel was nice too. Highly recommend!.
Very friendly staff, including loaning their iPad so we could face time home! The room was well decorated and came with a balcony which was great for hanging out our washing. There was a garage in which we could store our bikes and they were very accommodating to our early departure time!.
