The size of the room and bathroom was excellent. Very spacious, especially for a 3-adult triple room. We were extremely pleased with the room, the cleanliness, the location and ease of finding it when driving into the city. The staff was courteous and very helpful as well. They made great dinner recommendations and were all-around friendly and helpful. brand new modern hotel, big parking underground at the hotel, cheap prices, big rooms, clean, biggest bathrooms seen so far during our 3 weeks trip, a 5 star hotel for 3 star price, staff was extremely helpful with parking and everything else, stongly recommended, the best price value so far of our trip (2 weeks in).
all reviews » We only stayed for one night but we found that the check in was quick and easy. There was undergound parking and we were supplied a map and directions on how to get to where we wanted to go. It was only a 15 minute walk to the Plaza Nueva. Staff were very helpful. Quality room with a good location in a quiet neighborhood at an excellent price. It's not in the city center but it was a pleasant walk there from the hotel and grabbing a taxi was never a problem to get to the Alhambra. Very friendly, accommodating staff.We stayed in 2 triple rooms which were spacious. We were pleasantly surprised that the extra beds were very comfortable. Very confortable beds, clean room, large bathroom, quite close to the center also by walk (15 mins to the Cathedral).The staff was very friendly, perfectly situated, easy to find by car. Generally an unobtrusive stay at the hotel... something we wanted. the room is quite new and big, with good facilities (comparing with 3 or 4 star hotels in Spain);. Such a minor thing, but the temperature in the elevator was very warm and so were the hallways of the floors. The temperature in the rooms were perfect though and that is what is more important. nothing, except 1/2 KM walk to the basilica, but the walk is nice with lot of shops and there is a lot of restaurant that are still open late and on sunday near the hotel. Coin-operated internet access was surprisingly out of place in such a hotel-- like an internet café in a 4-star hotel. Easier to manage than a business computing room, I´m sure, but still disappointing. A little far from center . like a 10~15 min.towels were not changed daily. Cups were also not replaced. Lack of local information - no flyers on things to see or do.we arrived in a car and had difficulty finding the hotel...with the one way streets. The central heating. It is controlled outside the room meaning you cant do anything about it. It was extremely hot in the room and I had to sleep with the window wide open. This worked out OK as the window was facing a quiet courtyard but It probably would have been a problem if the romm was facing the street.Uncomfortable pillow and bed. Noisy street outside. bar prices. My room was next to a cleaning cupboard, which meant that at 06.30 every morning I was woken up with the cleaners banging it constantly. Apart from that, it was great. Rather distant from places of interest. no tea or coffee making facilities.. no room service except for set meals. Not a problem to us, but hotel is not brand new, but rather is recently renovated.Parking was a bit tight, but the staff helped find another park. The unexpected temporary stretcher bed which made up our 'triple room' was uncomfortable. The two main beds were also hard and uncomfortable, in fact awful for the price and star rating of the hotel! The beds were 2 star standard. The window view into a closed courtyard was a bit depressing, otherwise not a lot to complain about.i had a room facing the main street and there was noise till quite late. limited responsiveness of staff;. Extra fees are always an irritation. Okay, so car parking is at a premium in a city not designed for cars. Mini-bar charges might generate a large income for hotels... AC Hotels don't charge any though!. the service is poor; there is no English TV channel at all; the shower is normal, without pressure;.

Travelling information

Follow the circumvallation. The airport is situated on the A-92, next to Chauchina village.
Continue in the A-92 till the exit 230 (Santa Fe, Granada, Sierra Nevada), continue by the A-329 in Santa Fe village and then connect with the A-44/E-902 and drive till the exit 129 (Centro – Recogidas), round the roundabout and go straight on by Neptuno Street and follow the same way by Recogidas Str. till you arrive to the intersection with Pedro Antonio de Alarcón Str which you can find at right.
Continue this street by about 100 metres and take the next street also at right, Manuel de Falla and finally you are in Alhamar Street where Alhamar Hotel is situated
