Lovely reception area and fantastic staff especially the receptionists who offered us a different room but they soon sent the maintenance guy along to us and there was then was no need to move. The bar/dining room staff were also really friendly and professional. All public areas and guest rooms were kept very clean. We enjoyed the breakfast no end, it was buffet style either full cooked or continental style. As much or as little as wanted. We had only one evening meal in the restaurant, which .
all reviews » Really nice apartments, basic but clean and comfy. They had some of the best cooking facilities we've had in similar apartments (including in ski resorts) - a full sized fridge, dishwasher and plenty of utensils. The pool had a lifeguard on duty at all times (whilst open) and he was always willing to help you re-arrange the furniture or drag over a parasol. Location was good, a 5min walk from the beach and lots of restaurants and the supermarket underneath was big and well stocked and reasonabl. I was amazed when we arrived at the apartments at just how much room we had. We were very fortunate to be on the ground floor which meant that we had a double balcony. We also had all the mod cons e.g. washing machine, microwave and dishwasher. The room was cleaned every few days, the pool was close by and had enough room for everyone, everywhere was very clean and overall it was amazing value for money especially with the location!. One of the best appartments i ever stayed in, nicely located, very nice appartments nicely equiped, very welcoming staff, sweet pool and bar... anyway everything is awesome in this place. Before going i read plenty of comments and remarks about this hotel but after going believe me it is really a place worth to stay in u won't regret, enjoy. four our group of 5 the apt was perfect. spacious, clean with a well equiped kitchen (including washing mashine). mercadona supermarket in the same building and 5 min walk to the beach. there is an open air swimming pool on the terrace on the 1st floor. great value for money. there is a (free) public parking in front of the building. So easy to find off the motorway, yet quiet and so near the shopping streets and also the beach. Lovely apartments, with all everything you need, plus. Never used the swimming pool, though it did look nice, or the other facilities as out and about. Really great value too and friendly, helpful staff. The facilities in the apartment excellent. Staff extremely efficient and helpful. Pool well looked after and pool staff very good. Location very good as close the railway (3 minutes) and beach and bars etc only 5 minutes. Free wi fi worked very well. Nearly everything, I will stay there again, I have to visit Fuengirola often and have stayed at many hotels. This is the best value by far. There is easy parking, a nice pool, really good rooms, helpful staff. clean, comfortable, well-equipped, nice appartment. good location for beach, shops, bars, restaurants and for transport, especially train to airport and Malaga. ideal for our needs. Appartment was very nice, kitchenette was sufficiently supplied, free parking possibilities right infront of appartement, supermarket located in same building, beach is 5-10min walk. This is about our 5th stay in the Nuriasol, so think that speaks for itself. Have stayed in other apts over the yrs but when we found Nuriasol we havent stayed anywhere else!. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Apartment was spacious, comfortable and very clean. This was my second stay here so would highly recommend it. the efficiency of the staff the convenience of the swimming pool the swimming safety attendant who helped us when a grandchild fell in the pool. Location. we have stayed here 3 times now good facilitys, Washing machine, oven and hob, fridge frezzer great for self catering close to beach and train station. friendliness of staff the view the space lovely little terrasse very quiet. We stayed in room 2102, the room was a lovely size for 2 people but would have been far too small and cramped had there been 6 people, even if 4 of those were children. The shower had NO middle door, there was a shower curtain that did not fit. The bed settees x 2 that doubled as lounge seating, were extremeley uncomfortable to sit on. At one time the slats broke when sat on. There wasn't much we didn't like, but a couple of times staff could have been better. They were generally very attentive and friendly but a couple of times they did things like answer a phone call after we'd asked for our key and just left us standing there for a few minutes waiting. Not all the staff at reception had a great knowledge of the area or the english language. Could have had a few more items of kitchen ware for cooking. But not a major draw back. on the last night the music from the restaurant/ cafe was a bit too loud. other than that, nothing. Liked all. The bar closed early and could have promoted itself more as very few people seemed to drink there in the evenings even though it could have been very nice. The roads away from the hotel seemed dirtier than previous visit. Dogs fouling pavements and not cleaned away. Balconies are small so would not be suitable for family to sit on and eat but ok for couple. But need to turn off air con as the unit is on the balcony and can be noisy and blow out hot air. On the first night that I arrived, late, I was given the key to my room, on entering it smelt very badly of cigarettes. On returning to reception I was told that there were no other rooms available. However, after the receptionist had checked the room himself he agreed that I could not sleep there, and found me another room. He was very helpful and courteous, and I understand that things like that happen in the best hotels. This will not stop me staying there again. not much. towels only changed towards end of our week. Depending on ur neigbours the appartment can be noisy. we missed a few basic things like a tea towel and a kitchen roll. There was a very small blood mark on the mattress so I turned it upside down. Perhaps there could be thin mattress protectors on the beds, which could be removed for cleaning. There could have been more equipment in the kitchen. However, other members of our party asked for more and got it with smile. Nothing. Could do with more kitchen equipment, lacked utensils Settees a bit uncomfortable, also the metal balcony chairs uncomfortable. The apartment we had was on the 1st floor & it was very noisy, street noise and also there was a steel door underneath for access outside the complex which was extremely noisy. We asked to get moved on the 2nd morning but there was no other apartment available. We had to ask for crockery, cutlery, glasses and a frying pan But this was supplied. I dont have any complaints. Fuengirola as a holiday destination. The worst place I've ever been to. Only stayed cause we had a wedding in Mijas which is lovely. Terrible food, tacky, dirty. Avoid unless you like drinking all day, getting sunburnt and hate experiencing other cultures. It's a stih hole. Nothing. Nothing. Restaurent is in need of renovation. Cold of pool water. Our apartment was opposite the childrens play area. not a good place to put this facility.. apartment lacking in basic equipment. Swimming Pool a little small No bath and no door on shower, sofa not very comfortable. Small balcony. Poolside umbrella's could be better secured. More utensils in apartments. no lamp no balcony. Lack of basic essentials in apartment eg small electrical appliances, cutlery and delph. Sofas most uncomfortable to sit on. No soap. nothing. Nothing. no bedside lights. Balcony furniture uncomfortable. There should be more different plates and glasses in the kitchen. 2 things: 1. No detergents for dishwasher and washing machine. 2. Short curtain in the show. no cutlery on arrival, but was given some next day, our shower enclosure door was missing (persumed broken) so water went all over the floor. not enough crockery no tel in the apartment..so no way to contact the reception..really bad if something happened terrible sofas (style & comfort ). First stay had a shower/bath, this time just a shower, so small unable to turn round without hitting controls. slight hill back to hotel. We have stayed several time at the Nuriasol,this time we didn't find room as clean as before. The bathroom had a bad smell told it was a problem from the drains. We have booked to stay again in October so will see how it is then.
