This hotel was a delight. It is situated about 50m from a lovely beach and our room and balcony overlooked the sea. The Alen do mar is in a quiet, secluded spot but is in easy reach of the town of Fisterra, with its many restaurants. The breakfast was full and delicious and the service was wonderful. A particular feature, which appealed to us, was the quality and price of the hotel's laundry service. A bag of clothes, washed and ironed for only 4 Euros, has to be a bargain! The people running t.
all reviews » Hotel was really nice in a great location right next to beach in the woods a short drive from Fisterra. It had a really new feel as did the room which features a large balcony. Breakfast was served in stages unlike the usual Buffet style and was presented well. Staff were very friendly. What a lovely Hotel. The location was just a stones throw from the beach. The town was just a short distance by car. The staff were lovely and friendly. The breakfasts were very imaginative. We really enjoyed our stay here and can't think of anything we disliked. The hotel was spotless and well run. The family clearly take great pride in their new hotel and the facilities it offers. Breakfast was good, with service at your tabel rather than a buffet.
