Just back from my hen weekend with a group of 21. I had read all the reviews before going and wasn't expecting great things. The Apartamentos Vistamar are great, the check in isn't until 5pm, we arrived at 12pm, and where ok to check in. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The apartments were better than expected, much better than others I have stayed in for a cheap hen weekend. We all felt safe enough to be alone and wander to our friends rooms, during the day and night. The pool was fi.
all reviews » Excellent hotel for the money and far more facilities than expected. Staff so helpful. Also had large veranda facing the sun which we didn't expect to have so this was an added bonus. Away from the noise but not too far to walk to the lively centre so the best of both worlds. Will definitely use again. Value for money was excellent , location was spot on close to the nightlife but far enough away for it to be quiet , staff were friendly and professional , very good clean pool , what's not to like about the place. Central location. Quiet despite this. Large living area with huge balcony. Inexpensive. Freezer for making alcopop slushes. Big mirrors for hair and make up. Was cheap everything you needed nothing you didn't very basic but for lads weekend was great. Just round corner from all night life. Staff were helpful and was close to main nightlife and great bars close to the hotel. Friendly staff. Good location. Rooms clean and comfortable. Bit scary when your nipping down to the next floor to get your sister to do your hair!. It was dated but ideal for a couple of nights partying in town. We had 4 in are room but only enough hot water for 3 quick showers. Can't think of anything. Rooms were freezing . TV set is funny No Wi-Fi. Surroundings are too noisy (bars, caffes, etc...) couldn't sleep til 3 a.m. No air cond, no internet in the room. They charge you the full rate for parking but expect you to collect a key from reception then return it as they didnt have enough keys, parking was up the street. We also booked another apartment direct and as my friend was disabled and needed assistance they said they would put us next door to one another but on arrival we were 11 floors apart!. Rooms outdated, just a general grubby feel to the hotel.
