  We stayed for 2 nights en route from Granada back to Alicante. Alicia and her husband were very obliging and served us some simple and very tasty meals when we discovered the local restaurants were closed as it was early in the season and early in the week. All food was delicious and recommended. The room was spotlessly clean and there were nice t... what people say » erraces, with views of the sea, to eat and relax. - The owners were great, very attentive and helpful. The location is just back from the beach in a quiet, elevated position with a great view over the surrounding village and landscape. The hotel is built in a style sympathetic to the local vernacular but with all the modern facilities. Calabardina is a great base for exploring Aguilas, Hornilla and the surrounding region.

  Two overworked city boys were looking for the ultimate peace and found it at this little Mediterranean paradise. Surrounded by stunning views of the bay and rocky backlands. A gentle breeze and only the sound of birds. How lovely it is to do nothing and rest afterwards. Breakfast with all kind of fruits, fresh orange juice and homemade jams. The charming owner and her staff make you feel at home like - This hotel was fantastic, from the minute we arrived we were made very welcome, the owner was extremely helpful with information on places to eat, best beaches etc. All rooms are well decorated and the views from the terrace are superb, and the fact that we were the only guests made the break even better, Do try the local produce at breakfast,the olives, cheese and tomatoes were superb, Probably the best hotel we have stayed in
