We liked our stay in Calafell very much. Pesion Rovior is in very good location - just 100 metres and you are on the beach. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. They speak English and French. It was vey clean, they changed the towels and cleaned every day. On the 5 day bedsheets wwere changed too. They is a safety deposit box in the room and a hair-dryer. Beds are vey comfortable. It's very close to the train staion where also buses to start from. The reception does not work 24 hours but . all reviews »
I actually stayed in Hotel Platja Mar. They were excellent staff in all
hotel services, extremely helpful and in Spanish, Catalan, English and
French. Very happy with service of rooms, extremely clean. I would
definately return again.It was very near to the beach and very clean.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
One of the girls working in the bar next door that manages the hotel spoke English.
It was clean and a good location.The save was broken.
I probably wouldn't recommend it to women travellers who travel alone as I found the crowd of older men at the bar a little intimidating.
From the outside the pension looks a little rough.
