What people say
Location, it is close to major attractions in Barcelona. We used to go on foot to Plaza Catalunya and Rambla (some 30mins) seeing Gaudi buildings along the walk. If you prefer there is a close metro station (Fontana, in about 3mins walk). # different food shops nearby and lots of bars, restaurants an takeaways make life easier, too. And the street is full of shops and people so you can feel safe. all reviews »
Very good access to everything we wanted. Location excellent for Barcelona city centre, also Camp Nou not far away, and on outer edge of city centre, in a bustling area in its own right, accessible to Tibidabo.
Free to come and go as we pleased.
Good parking deal with a location nearby.
On bus route 22.
Location very close to Las Ramblas, accessible easily even during night.
Even though it is a pension, they clean the room every day.
It was funny to hear neighbour's chicken in the centre of Barcelona!.
Staff was very friendly! The hotel is superclean! Location is good for travelers who know Barcelona. The hotel is situated in "Gracia" which is an very nice area to stay, shop, walk, sightseeing etc.
Great location in the heart of Gracia
Citycenter/Ramblas easily to reach within 4 metrostops
Clean bedroom/bath with fresh towels each day.
Nice and clean hostel. Not far from city and parties! Calm place, easy to sleep. Near shops and restaurants, subway.
Superb location, friendly staff, good value. Rooms are basic but clean and have all that you need for a few days stay.
A good choise if you are looking for something cheep but with an acceptable standard.
Liked the location, staff and rooms were very clean.

Very nice girl helped us to find the Italian resraurant and tryed to help with on-line tickets to Sagrada Familia.
Thanks to her a lot.
Location is good.Money-saving hotel opportunity.Bed is comfortable and bathroom is clean. It is safe and personnel is friendly.
Location. The room, although small was comfortable.
We liked the staff and the localization (Gracia!).
Well, steps. The pension is located on 2nd floor, but our room was actually on 3rd. We knew there was no lift, but still it is a VERY high 3rd floor, not like in many other buildings, we actually felt like climbing at least to 5th floor.
Didn't trouble us, but the stairs might bother less fit or mobile people.
There was a common wall between our room and the shared bathroom and you can hear practically everything. It bothered me during night.
The same thing is hearing the staff to get the water for cleaning at the balcony, where our window was situated to.
The only window went out to the inner yard (hard to get fresh air).
No elevator but not a big problem. We had a fan in the room which was a little noisy.
Nothing, have stayed here a couple of times.
At night, when people arrived it could be noisy if you were trying to sleep. There were a lot of stairs wich difficult if you had heavy baggagé.
No lift and window with limited day light (view on the wall).
Thin walls.
Loads of stairs!.
The ladder is very inconvenient for lifting.
In case you want to drink coffee or a hot tea(your own stuff). It is impossible to supply hot water. It could have been available.Lift is lacking.
Your information said that it was on the second floor when in fact it is on the third floor. I would mention that in Catalunya (and maybe the whole of Spain) the floors are only numbered from the second floor (which is called the first floor), so the second floor is in fact the third floor and so on.
Rooms are small and some does not have any window. There are not many bathrooms and you can take a shower only till 23.30. Anyway - this is not a bad place.
