The location was fantastic, all the staff were really friendly and helpful, the hostal was very clean, beds and towels changed everyday. Security box in the room included at no extra cost and the security that you set your own combinatioon. Just a very suprising well run Hostal and value for money. The breakfast was continental but there was plenty of choice to enjoy. Had a great stay and would recomend for the Ideal city break location.
all reviews » Exelent hotel for budget stay in Barcelona. Great stuff, especially a middle aged man on the reception, he gave us a city map, a metro map, explained how to get to the most popular turistic places and recommended some good restaurants. Breakfasts were very good, included a variety of products. Hotel description is 100% correct. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for any trips in the city. The hotel is close to transit and central to many popular attractions (e.g. the Rambla, the funicular to Montjoic, is blocks away). A generous breakfast is also available at the hotel for a small fee. My Daughter had previous stayed with you, so she booked me and a friend, and advised it was very good. I thought the staff were great and it was easy getting to and back on the bus, enjoyed the breakfast, and it was very clean, would recommend it to all my friends . The staff in the hotel is great, very friendly, helpfull and they have nice tips. The rooms are exactly what we needed, clean, nice shower and good beds. The breakfast in the morning is really nice! This hotel is much more then a hostal, it's a really nice hotel!. We stayed here for five nights in late September. Very affordable and good place. The room was quiet and with aircondition. Excellent location at the Port of Barcelona. Just 100 meters from Las Ramblas and close to subway. Free Wi-Fi and safetybox on the room. Everything was perfect. The room was big and beds wonderful. The staff was very kind and helpfull. I recommand this hotel also for its location, at 200 m of the port and the breakfeast which was great. The district is very quiet. We spend a wonderfull stay. I liked that this hostal is close to bus stops, a train station, the cruise port and best of all La Rambla! The hostal is in a safe location and someone is always at the front desk. The hostal was very good and kept clean. Very satisfying. Only disappointment was with the size of the room. Think, from room chart on door, that many others were probably larger. Still, well pleased with this establishment. We heard noise from the hallway. room small but clean. The room was a bit on small side, but for a short stay in a big city with lots to see it wasn't a big deal as we didn't spend much time in it. There wasn't a huge choice in the breakfast buffet. N/A. beds a bit hard, no lamp over the sink in the bathrooom,. There was some fungi in the silicone of the shower cabin, witch can easly be resolved with some cheap spray. Room was right next to the elevator. Odour and dirt of the room, not well-cleaned and not presentable. single room is so tiny, looks like a cell though clean and quite comfortable. we were shocked when one of the original rooms assigned to us have a staff sleeping inside when my children opened the door to their room. it caught us by surprise but it was eventually resolved but as a result we were not roomed side by side. nothing. little bit noisy morning (10pm:) cleaning. Small rooms. The shower was broke. Too many guests trying to have breakfast at the same time - venue was overcrowded. Rooms are not sound proof, we could hear all from other rooms around! House keeping did not respect the room's privacy. Dirty room spiders crushed on wall n left skirting comming away dirty sheets no breakfast all gone by time we got there and still 1 hour left.
