Staff were excellant and could not be more accomodating. Modern boutique decor hotel with great location to all attrctions. Room was luxurious and clean- a real haven to relax in after a busy day sightseeing. Room service was impressively quick. Restaurant fitted with quality of hotel and delicious food. Breakfast selection was good. Roof top terrace is lovely with drinks available. Central place to stay! PCs for guests, free internet, nice library where you could connect your own PC, mini-bar (soft drinks) included in the price of the room. Very stylish hotel, with lots of candles to counter-balance the cool image. Fantastic roof-top pool (even better if heated, we could not use it in February...)!.

I requested an iron and ironing board on 5 seperate ocassions and finally an iron was available at the end our of second day but no ironing board was available. I liked the location of the hotel as it was within easy walking distance of many of the main attractions. Swimming pool was freezing (end May visit) although once you're in it's fine!!!! just be brave!!. Noise of the Metro. roof top pool area too small and was allowed to get very crowded.The lighting, a bit dark in the room and bathroom, trying to have a shower with not much light just doesnt work. the light in the room and bathroom was bed. Some water noise audible during the night. 1st floor room next to bar outside and very noisy but moved to 5th floor when requested. The hotel rooms should be provided with at least two seats each. The nasty smell that seemed to permeate everywhere in the area andespecially in the passageways of the hotel. The room was very noisy. The hotel is a very modern, trendy hotel, but come on, one or two lights would be ok. It is so dark in the general areas, and in the rooms it is an impossible task to apply makeup in such a dimly lit room. Sadly I think we (my 2 friends and I) must have gone out looking orange every night. Also the size of the pool deck area and the pool itself were very disappointing. no but thouht breakfast.a bit expensive. the room was very dark, not enough light. Juts the lighting and decor of hallways to rooms but everything else was great but the hotel is a a bit too pricy based on hotels just as nice and much cheaper in the area.The hotel bedroom suffered from a lack of natural light, and there were no mirrors except for one above the sink in the bathroom. the bar!!! non existant. room just a little bit too basic. the pool was not heated and therefore could not be used very disappointing. The air conditioning did not work and was uncomfortable in the room with three people - it did not get fixed during our stay and the air conditioning in the gym did not work either and no weights available. the lighting was dark. No food available by the pool and the walls are ridulously thin, you could hear everything in the rooms next door and above.Lack of bar facilities. It is so dark in the corridors that you feel like you are in a cave. The room was spartan, very depressing decor - black walls!!!, black blinds!!!. The wash basin was in the main bedroom whilst the shower and toilet were behind a glass sliding door that left nothing to the imagination when someone was using the facilities!! The bathroom seemed to have the drains through. we felt like in a dark hole - really depressing, not every ultra modern design is good choice... in Barcelona are much more economic, nicer and hotels with better location that this one...Very dark and poorly designed.
