Fabulous location, beautiful but compact apartment. Great location - beautiful apartment. comfortable, convenient and central. It wasnt a hotel with staff it was an apartment that was clean and well maintained. It met all our needs and the location was perfect for being in the heart of the city and was close to espanya for the marathon which my partner took part in. We would come back to the FGA Liceu Apartments in the future.Awesome location

The apartments were recently refurbished so everything was very clean and bright. It was well furnished and fitted out with good quality white goods. The new type key system for locking the door was very good and you felt your personal belongings were safe / secure. The location was excellent.Absolutely perfect location ! The appartment was clean, bed and sofa bed were comfortable. Air conditionning is a plus when you're staying in the summer. The apartment was very nice and the location of Las Ramblas was perfect. Check-in can be difficult but the manager was very nice. The design of the building (metal staircase / internal central courtyard) meant you could hear the arrival and departure of other guests, and on night the internal noise from other guests could be quite bad. You could not hear any noise from the street so external sound proofing was very good. Bathroom is really tiny and this can be a problem if you're staying more than 2 or 3 days. Some of the kitchen ustensils were a little dirty.The shower was ok but you need to be very careful to ensure that thewater does not run off all over the bathroom floor. Beware there is no reception so you have to wait on the side of the street for the rep to meet you to hand over keys. We ended up waiting there for an hour and a half.No concierge or check in desk on site required a phone call and wait for someone to turn up and let us in. there were no fire detectors in the apartment that I could see. Just a comment about bathroom, the shower area is extremely badly designed - we had to mop up everytime we used the shower. the bathroom is too small. there is no daily cleaning of the room. not enough towels for the stay.small bathroom, sometimes didn't work the elevator. no bath soap. Bath was small but for short period it is ok. I did not like the check in facility this needs improvement. be carefull on la rambalas. Relatively small bathroom which gets quite flooded after a shower.A little noisy at night. The smell in our rooms was not nice. because of the locatiion is't noisy but it is a city. Check in process was not convenient.Rental office was too far away from the actual apartment. We stayed for 4 nights (5 days) - and there was no room service at the apartments (although I am sure if we had asked it would have been provided). Also, the shower area is extremely badly designed - which meant the bathroom had to be mopped up everytime we used the shower (mop bucket and mop were provided!). Bathroom very small, lack of shelfs etc., one has to use the floor which was flooded from the shower. The room was never cleaned.Waited an hour to check in. Nothing provided, had to buy everything incl tea, coffee and replacement toilet paper. Maid came after 6 days, just before we were about to leave. bathroom is quite small and i hardly see any staff around that can help w directions and etc. I won;t recommend this hotel if you are travelling as a couple or w family/friends. If you;re alone, i would say it's ok and for me i hardly spend time in the place , most of the time i am out. so it;s ok for me.We stayed for five nights, and they never cleaned the apartment or changed the sheets and the towels. Very noisy. The furnishings were minimalist in the extreme!. Bathroom not functional. I am not very big, however the bathroom being very narrow (maybe less than a meter in width) made using it a ordeal. My travel partner almost burnt herself on the hot shower mixer.late night noise from other residents,walls seem very thin. The bathroom was too small and I couldn't see it at the pictures.We had to wait for check in more than an hoer.Very small bathroom, only 4 towels for 4 people, poor sound isolation.
