It's a small guesthouse inside a building with private apartments. Perfect location- close to the beach and to the central street La Rambla. Complimentary water, muesli, milk, 24- open kitchen with some biscuits, fruits, coffee machine. Inside the room frige, microwave, kettle. And it was so nice in the morning while opening the door of our room to find breakfast waiting for us (we overslept it). Staff was very helpful and friendly. all reviews »
Francesca and the rest of the gang were so warm and friendly. It felt like we were staying with extended family.
The room we stayed in was beautiful, with original features. Felt like we were getting the true experience of Catalan culture.
The location was excellent, situated right in the center of Barcelona, in the Las Ramblas area and by the Marina and beach.
A wonderful location. Just a two minute walk to the Columbus Monument at the base of Las Ramblas. The English speaking staff were extremely helpful when my husband's pocket was picked on the Metro. They were so apologetic and even walked us to the police station to report it. Remember, Barcelona is the #1 pick-pocket capital of the world.
Although we had privacy this guesthouse felt much cosier and friendlier than staying in a hotel. The Spanish architecture and furnishing were great.
We liked having a fridge in the room.
Francesca is lovely and very helpful.
Great location. Very helpfull host.clean and charming rooms but very
simple. Suited us perfect.breakfast in the price. Fast and easy to get
on the bus to the airport at place de catalunya, took 25 min. Great!.
Location was great and the staff
really friendly and we thank them for remembering my wife's 50th birthday with a bottle of bubbly they gave us.
We will be back with friends
Steve & Janie.
Perfectly located, the room was great, very clean. I simply liked the atmosphere from the first moment I stepped in - especially because the staff was just great - helpful and cheerful.
The location of the Guesthouse is really great, near of historical center of the city and also near of the sea. The staff was so friendly and helpful! Original place to stay.
Very well located with respect to old town center, the famous Rambla, the Metro and the seafront.
Very nice staff.
Very favourable value for money!.
Super friendly hosts, felt at home from the first minute, charming rooms, excellent location.
very kind staff.
The location.
Little bit old- fashioned but it has its charm:) bathroom door was difficult to close. And like everywhere in Barcelona- windows are facing next building, so you have to hide while changing your clothes))).
Very noisy at night on the weekends because of the nearby bars. It wouldn't wind down till around 3-4am. The windows at the guesthouse were single glazed (original features) so it didn't block out any noise. Would recommend bringing ear plugs for everyone .
We had difficulty finding the guesthouse because the sign on the door is small.
A little noise some of the nights from the street.
It was a bit noisy during the night (from the street).
Room was a bit small. Not too easy to find (no sign on the main entrance). Staff is not always on site, but available on the phone anytime.
perhaps a bit expensive but easily outweighed by the charming atmosphere.
Uncomfortable no clean towels daily no toiletries uncomfortable poky shower facitity.
