Aside from everything?! Well.. Everything! We loved everything about the hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms, the very friendly and well accommodating and helpful staff. And most especially the location. No one can beat with the location of the hotel, it's smack right in front of the beach and tons of restaurants and bars along the long stretch of the beach walk! And my favorite is the nightly hippy-flea market just outside the hotel in the plaza. But the most amazing thing is with all the hust.
all reviews » Everything!! The location, the view, the comfort. Absolutely amazing!! We had a wonderful view from our balcony that showed us the beach, a nice square with fountain and the statue of the prince Abdul Rahman I, we could look at the markets on the square that open at night and listen to the sound of sea. We had a great relaxing time for our honeymoon. The beach and many restaurants are few steps away. I totally recommend it to Almunecar visitors. From beginning to end Hotel Casablanca was excellent. It's quirky, Moorish and individual touches were a pleasure. We were treated so well and as for the food it was excellent. So fresh and tasty, brilliant service. I went with girlfriends but we all agree that we want to go back with our husbands it was so good. Very nice and english speaking staff, nice hotel in moorish style. Nice room, comfy bed and clean bathroom with hairdryer and bath accessories. Idealy located, 2 minutes from 2 beaches, and closed to many bars/restaurants and city center. Very nice stay in this hotel, at a very reasonnable price!. excellant room - great terrace and en suite, very clean and wonderful location next to a lovely beach (try the first cafe you get too on san sebastian beach) - felt a very safe area and a stroll down eastward offers lots of evening options. I had booked a small double room at the side, for a very reasonable sum. But when I saw the big balconies at the front, I changed. Double the price, but worth it. Rooms are simply furnished and beds are comfortable. We have stayed here before, and this charming and very centrally located hotel is lovely! The terrace is a very entertainig place in the heart of the beach area, and you can easily walk to everything. The entrance is impressive, the food excellent and very reasonable, the situation right on the square, across the road from the beach was perfect, parking was easy and free, in September. A lovely experience in an out of the ordinary hotel. Staff were very good. Plenty of free parking outside when were there and very close to plenty of restaurants and bars. Excellent family run business with a brilliant restaurant on the ground floor. Isaac and other waiters were brilliant with our son and provided an excellent service. Good location near the beach. Lack of vegetarian/wheat free options but the what restaurant does. The room was smaller than I expected. food was good but evening service had the look of a panic attack. A fridge in the room would be a great benefit. Air-conditioning does not seem very effective, so I would not like to stay at the height of summer. The attractive square at the front is a meeting-place for some of the local homeless, who spend much of the day there. One of these men became quite noisy and anti-social as the day wore on. The decoration of the rooms was a bit naff - the rooms seem to have been redecorated, but oh dear! if the curtains were better quality and a different colour, if the bedspread matched...the furniture was completely out of keeping with the Arabic theme! Bathroom a bit small and cramped, but for 2 nights it was fine. Wifi only in the lobby and cafe. Not a problem really. Just did all our net stuff over breakfast or a beer. Entrance needs a ramp access for prams. Otherwise it is a great place to stay. Aircondition rather poor. At almost +30 degrees outside the temperature in the room didn't get lower than +24. Poor ventilation. No individual lamps by the beds if you like to read in bed at night (check pictures on website). breakfast should be included. More choice at breakfast would be nice. nothing. Would have liked small refridgerator in bedroom. restaurant closed broken lock on bathroom door room small temporary drain smell. Checkout clerk spoke no Engkish which made the checkout process difficult. The room was looking a little tired (patched up holes in the ceiling for instance). 4ft6in mattresses on 4ft wide twin beds! Something wrong there!. Nothing. - Forget to change the bed linen, to remind - Breakfast with no option for a fee - Very poor noise insulation. One or two room maintenance faults; the blind dropped on its own and the bathroom door didn't shut properly. Nothing. Can get a little noisy at night.. Not much choice at breakfast. Food option poor. Lift only for 2 persons. There was fuse pannel in the room, that made a loud humming noise so that we had to use ear plugs Room are not very comfortable and missing a warm atmosphere. Breakfast was rather small. Nothing. No swimming pool.
