The room was fantastic for the price we paid and we got breakfast with it too which was great. The room was incredibly spacious and very clean. We also had a safe we didn't have to pay for and massive balcony. The golf course was a decent test and greens not too bad, fairways could do with some work though. Close to the airport and a short drive to alicante centre. We stayed for only one night on the way back from holidays. Very nice resort outside Alicante. Big and clean rooms. Kitchen pretty modern but with limited equipment if you would like to really cook. 2 big swimming pools. Very close to the airport (ca 7 min drive) but in the middle of nowhere so you really need a car. Great value for money.
all reviews » We liked and enjoyed every thing at the resort. Could do with a little freshen up with a paint roller and brush here and there. However, for the money we paid maybe asking too much. The very best self catering we have stayed at. The hotel rooms where very well fitted especially the bathrooms, the breakfast could have been warmer but was still good value. Played the attached golf course and really enjoyed it and the views from the higher holes. What a surprise! Unbelievable value for money! We were just using it for one night until we could get into our villa. Would definetley consider this as a holiday destination. We had booked a one-night stay in a two=bedroom apartment.Absolutely excellent facilities.Very chic and wonderful value for money.Would definitely repeat the experience. The apartment was brilliant, very spacious, cosy and fully equiped. Plent of room to let our 2 years old son run around. At night was very calm and relaxing. Beautiful landscaped gardens and swimming pool. Modern facilities with style in apartment two televisions, wash machine, spin drier' comfortable beds. size and layout of the apartment was excellent, the pool was good, the staff that we met were extremely helpful. The grounds were beautifully kept. The apartments are very nice, spacious and modern, nice bathrooms, big terrace, well maintained outdoor facilities, quiet, good for families. Maybe if we had been on a golf break it would have been better. Location close to airport and golf course. Nothing. We had a car so it wasn't an issue but the place is completely out by itself, if you didn't have a car you may find yourself a bit stuck and there wasn't a lot to do at the hotel if you weren't playing golf. The pool is painted a funny colour so wasn't very inviting to jump in, they should do something about that. I feel you should get a discount on the golf course if you are staying at the hotel. The area just on the outside of the city smelt like a sewage plant. This at first coloured our view of Alecante and the resort. But it didn't take long for this emotion to pass and saw how Lucky we were to pay a vist. nothing not to like, sun, golf, and beer what more could you want lol. Not a thing!!. Thought the buffet dinner was poor,but really we were a captive audience,as we were very tired.We had expected something smarter. Some people used the swimming pool out of the timetable (around 2AM!) and they were quite loud. But this is something that can happen anywhere unfortunately. not easy to find at first go, but after that, a doddle. We found it incredibly difficult to find at night from the airport as the written directions were poor & the on road signage poor. Would be nice to have some cleaning utensils in the kitchen (detergent for the dish washer, towels, clothes) Towels for the pool would be a nice service Same breakfast every day gets a bit boring (although breakfast in general was not bad) Playground should have more facilities for small children (now appropriate for children older than 3 or 4). Could have been better cleaned.. WiFi was not good. You need a car for everything. Golf course hat some problems with The standard ( fairway with lots of sand, some holes in green etc. ) Bad staff at The Golf Resort! and don´t book golf after 2 o´clock, to many people on The Course, and The staff don´t care.. Breakfast is a disaster!. poor room cleaning. not fresh floors. Reception staff not so helpful. Arrived at night time and difficult to find apartment in dark with 3 kids and suitcases in tow. nothing really it all went well aprt from being out on its own. Hard to find due to limited signage from airport or Alicante city. No real option apart from car hire or taxi to/from hotel. Lack of adequate signs on the road to find the hotel from airport and from Alicante. Apartments could do with a kettle and perhaps a 'starter pack' for kitchen. Nothing really, the swimming pool needs a repaint to make it look more attractive though. Nothing. No Kettle, No toaster. Noisey group of golfers. Little or no wifi when advised it would be in rooms. No kettle and when asked for one was supplied one which tripped the electricity. Reported but nothing done by staff. Very limited English TV channels. Not a big issue but not ideal. Rooms should have been fitted with a DVD player. No stereo. Nothing, good could be better. The terrace of the apartments has no privacy on the first floor. The resturange. Reception staff seemed to be nice but anytime there was a issue they try to avoid of helping. The location was very poor. During two weeks of our holiday we've never seen any bus stop, had to book a taxi all the time which was very costy. The nearest shopping centre is 10 min drive. The breakfast was very ordinary, was not matching to western cousine. There are no facilities locally (a considerable drive away) and the appartments and the Golf Complex separate and not within walking distance. There is a shuttle bus but this is variable. you need a car at all times. It is also quite hard to find. Too minimalistic, no kitchen consumables provided eg dishwasher tablets, washing liquid, tea towels etc Makes self catering very limited No DVD player Only 2 english TV channels. Can not think of anything. The staff (particularly in the restaurant) Wifi was not available in apartment and very limited near the pool area. second visit we had showers that smelt and showers that were for midgets. Breakfast very poor distance from Alicante farther than we expected we asked for airport hotel so found it all dissapointing. Rooms a bit dingy. - appartments were not cleaned, ( only linnen and towels were changed and a bit the bathrooms and shower area) - reception refused to give me a receipt when I paid my drinks - fried eggs were always cold - very noisy due to large groups making noise till about midnight - wifi, although free of charge available, was very unstable - we were on a ground floor appartment with absolutely no view from the terrace due to very dense and high vegetation - clearly no place to stay for 8 nights as we did. They gave me a very big apartment with 2 bed rooms although i asked them only one bed. It was very dificult to find the hotel even with GPS. There is no any sign who shows you where the reception is. It is not suitable neither for the short nor touristic stays. You can't find any market or any shop around. This is only for retired people to need a peaceful place. Not recomended.
