A beautiful old building in a lovely square within a delightful old
quarter of the town. Although Hondarribia itself is a bit upmarket
touristy and busy (mainly Spanish tourists - very few Brits!) this part
of the town is quiet and dignified. The hotel is very comfortable and

Excellent experience at Hotel Palacete for a young couple in search of comfortable hotel accommodations for a week of hiking adventures and exploration. Front desk attendant was multilingual and was very helpful during our stay to connect us with local entertainment options and transportation. Hotel location was perfect for our needs - not in busy San Sebastian but a short bus ride away, with plenty available in Hondarribia and a convenient 5-minute ferry to Hendaye, Aquitaine, FR.

The facilities, room and situation are unbeatable. Overlooks east to the
Spanish (Hondaribbia) and French (Hendaye) towns. The owner / host

We stayed here as a stop off to Southern Spain in both directions. The hotel was very clean with friendly staff and excellent value for money. We were travelling on motorbikes and they had secure parking which was what we wanted.
It is close to San Sebastian but there isn't really anything within walking distance although there is a train station

Overall though it was perfect for our needs and I would recommend it to anyone. -
Food was very Spanish and of good quality. Wi fi good. Problems were sorted very quickly. Offered hot water in flask for drinks in our bedroom. Very clean and recently refurbished.

This was the most comfortable and best appointed room we stayed in
during two weeks of a motoring holiday in France and Spain. When I
compilmented the owner, who could not have been more helpful, on the
quality of the hotel, which I had taken to be a recent build, he told
me that it was a 19th century structure which he and his wife had

Free parking a huge plus in spain. There was a big lot in back of hotel. 2 km to zurriola beach and parking there is very reasonable or you can just walk or take a bus. The staff was very helpful and very nice rooms and also very quiet at night and early morning. Exceptional value! -
