  Casa del Artista was a lovely, peaceful and comfortable place to stay! I loved the art displayed on the walls which was the main reason my 8 year old son Sabian wanted to stay. Jean-Paul was the most gracious, attentive host I have ever met. He is also gifted with his cooking! Thank you Jean-Paul with all our love Sonia, - A lovely quiet out of the way place but easily accessible by car from Elche or Alicante airport. Jean-Paul is an excellent host and provides an excellent continental breakfast. To locate Casa Del Artista follow Jean-Paul's directions and the good signs. We tried to be clever by checking the location on google maps and matching street view with the photos on letsbookhotel.com but were caught out. Warning - Google maps got it WRONG!

  Amazing location! 5 minutes walk to the restaurants/bars/shopping district, 5 minutes to the beach too and about 15 minutes walk to Castillo de Santa Barbara! The room is very clean with tiled floor and the shared bathroom is very clean and well maintained. The bathroom is a single occupancy and thus, you are the only person to be in it once you h... what people say » ave locked the door behind you. Air-conditioning in the room can be switched on for cold air (in the summer), heat (in the winter) or just plain fan w - It was brilliant. Great vibe off all staff from the reception to the cleaners. They always had a friendly hola! The room and breakfast was basic but that is what we expected for the price. Wifi was brilliant. Especially as tv was only Spanish channels and my Spanish is basic to say the least. Really close to beach and bus and tram links to other beaches. The milagrosa is smack bang in the old town with loads of places to eat for all budgets and it was buzzing as we went during the medieval fest
