Los Malenos is surrounded by an estate of over 70,000 m² of tranquil Andalusian countryside. Its whitewashed buildings are all built in the traditional style, designed to protect them from the heat and wind. Cool yourself off from the warm southern sunshine with a dip in the hotel’s outdoor swimming pool. All rooms are built around 3 courtyards with fountains, giving you a taste of traditional Spain. Each one opens onto a terrace, and features central heating powered by solar panels. Los Malenos provides a breakfast service each morning. Evening meals are available, subject to request at breakfast time. The Los Malenos estate is found just outside the village of Agua Amarga, just 4 km from the Mediterranean Sea.

The stylish simplicity; the location, the peace and quiet. Staff so helpful, lovely simple clean rooms. Layout- little shady quiet places. All. We were happy to eat in the hotel so as not to have to drive to a restaurant (none nearby) and didn't mind that the food was not that great but they do charge you restaurant prices (€20 per person, €17 for a bottle of wine) and then to rub salt into the wound charged 10% tax onto the quoted price at checkout. This was the only hotel on our trip who added tax onto the price quoted in letsbookhotel.com. It doesn't add much in the grand scheme of things but does leave a sour taste.
