  Well equipped, modern, comfortable, good location and we loved the privacy of the apartment! There was one night I had to stay alone and I felt very safe! - Were prepared to wait up for us after our late flight - gave us some coffee!

  Perfect and clean accommodation in a very quiet and safe area of Cape Town. The owner of the guesthouse Mark is a very friendly guy, ready to help and assist in any matter. In one word: everything was perfect. My full recommendation for stay. It was clean with spacious room, the area is very nice and staff is very friendly - The accommodation was... what people say » clean and the owner very frienly.   Location: out of the city, therefore nice and quiet and very picturesque, but yet close enough to Somerset West and Stellenbosch Centre and under 30 minutes’ drive to the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. Tea/Coffee making facilities and fresh fruit in the room. Bathroom: Separate toilet, double shower, large bath, double basins – and - Excellent small guest house,nothing was too much trouble. Christo & Martine fantastic hosts. Very much like staying with friends. We will be back next year for extended stay in self catering cottages which are to the same high standard as the bedrooms.

  The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful, and breakfast and dinner at the cosy restaurant varied and delicious. We liked the remote location of the hotel, the room's back patio surrounded by trees and birdsong, and the tranquil atmosphere of it all.

  The owner of the lodge and his wife were very helpful and attentive. The lodge itself was quietly situated with views of the nearby bay and well laid out with excellent facilities. It was within easy reach of Cape Town and the beautiful coastline. Top marks from us and would definitely return in the future.

  My wife and I stayed one night after completing the Whale Trail. We were warmly welcomed and the 'family room' was two rooms and a separate bathroom, all exceptionally well appointed and decorated. There were TV's in both rooms with their own DSTV. Mark recommended and excellent restaurant for dinner. There is no breakfast available, which was no... what people say » t a problem but something we were unaware of. There are plenty of breakfast options nearby however. Overall I could not imagine a better stay or exper - Mark and Eugene are the most nice, professionals, attentives, corrects and tireless hosts I ever saw in my life. Me and my wife have had excellent times at the Bay View Hotel, which has amazing rooms, huge bathrooms, and incredible hospitality.
