  We arrived at Lion's Rock not knowing what to expect as the internet was our only reference. We were met by very friendly and accommodating staff and throughout our stay they could not do enough to make us feel welcome and satisfied. Lion, white lion, ben - Lionsrock is highly specific in what it is and what it does. For that reason it is a very interesting place to visit - for a day or so. It is a little inaccisible vis-a-vis other attractions around the eastern Free State, reinforcing the need for a short visit. Staff and facilities are good for a 3-star establishment.

  Rooms painfully clean and neat. Bathroom extremely clean and spotless. Towels and linen / bedding all new and fresh! Well appointed and extremely good value for money. A lot of effort goes into keeping the entire guest house spotless. Staff and owners/managers very friendly and efficient.
