  We arrived at Lion's Rock not knowing what to expect as the internet was our only reference. We were met by very friendly and accommodating staff and throughout our stay they could not do enough to make us feel welcome and satisfied. The rooms were comfortable and very clean and with great views. Lion, white lion, ben - Lionsrock is highly specific in what it is and what it does. For that reason it is a very interesting place to visit - for a day or so. It is a little inaccisible vis-a-vis other attractions around the eastern Free State, reinforcing the need for a short visit. Staff and facilities are good for a 3-star establishment.

  The attention to detail at Stoneridge is amazing, the guests are treated like Kings and Queens, nothing is to much trouble, the food served at the tiny restaurant is awesome and the staff are friendly and polite.
