Our last knight was spent at Algoa Guest House. The reception was very friendly. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast area was small but charming the breakfast excellent. A good size room with a nice bathroom, TV (Satellite) cupboards and a desk too.
The breakfast voucher is good value for money. The sea-side is within walking distance (you can hear the waves at night) and so is a small shopping centre. I even had a verandah and a garden !!! Parking is safe at the guesthouse. Clean, comfortable, convenient, safe !!

Personally coming from a hospitality back ground, it was a breath of fresh air to walk in and made to feel right at home. We booked the Victoria and Alfred Guest House randomly because it was close to Port Elisabeth Airport. We just wanted a pad for the night but it exceed expectations with a very comfortable room and en suite facilities, helpful staff and a splendid breakfast. The shops, waterfront, restaurants and a welcoming golf course were a short drive away. -

The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The manager phoned to find out what time we'd be checking in, and if there was anything special we'd like in the minibar. My wife wasn't feeling well, and he arranged a special vegetarian meal for us.The room was great, the service excellent and the food was delicious.
