The staff was especially helpful. The restaurant is five star. The preparation and presentation of the food is equivalent to any five star restaurant in my home town of San Francisco. Location is within a short walk of the airport and rental car locations. We were traveling on a Safari and needed to leave by 6 AM. Fortunately, the buffet at the restaurant started at 4:30 AM, so we were able to enjoy an excellent breakfast. Fresh flowers on the table every day. Overall, an excellent experi.
all reviews » I really liked all the environmental information to encourage guests to recycle and use less energy and water. Room is spacious and well-designed, including the double functioning bathroom/toilet door! Breakfast was a well-stocked buffet with freshly cooked eggs. Friendly staff. Your staff were wonderful. I know they were new and sometimes didn't exactly know what to do, but they were very, very friendly. I believe I was one of your first customers. GREAT location. The wifi could be a bit faster and the transfers between the hotel and the airport and airport bus terminal could be rationalised. Running a mini bus on demand seems a bit wasteful. When I tried to book another night the staff were telling me different prices and I ended up going to Road lodge, otherwise the hotel is excellent,. The only negative was that the universal plugs in our bedroom did not fit our New Zealand plug. N/A. Nothing. While the distance to the airport and complimentary shuttle were awesome, it means you're really far from Cape Town and there is no shuttle there!. The position of the soap dispenser in relation to the shower position; it is in the worng place. There was nothing I did not like. Nothing. Your manager responsible for the restaurant was very friendly but ineffective. My steak, which I asked to be cooked medium rare, arrived well done and tasteless. When I sent it back your manager left my wife with her meal. My meal had not returned by the time she finished her food. I had to chase three more times. The restaurant was not busy at the time. Will only be back next year. The staff at the restaurant was very unfriendly I had to ask 4 different waiters for a cup of coffee. Just a small thing, the shower pressure wasn't great. Only that the outside area wasn't complete, but realized it is a new facility. the airport pick-up does not seem to work that well: we arranged the airport transfer with the hotel on two consecutive dates (provided them with the flight number, expected arrival time) - but nobody was waiting for us on both occassions. So you better make sure you have the hotel number (and enough credit on your cell phone) to call the reception to send someone for you... Staff entering the room unannounced twice. Nothing to dislike.
