We did not take advantage of the breakfast ,which is across the street at the Burgundy restaurant,as we had plans with friends in town, but we did eat there for dinner and it was great. We were upgraded to a beautiful room with an ocean view from the balcony, so great.   We planned on staying one night at Baleens, but changed to 2 after getting there. We loved the wonderful building and the African furniture and furnishings. The stained glass window with proteas was beautiful! We had booked a family room that sleeps 4 (there were three of us), and were given two rooms; one with sea and mountain views and the other... what people say » with an outrageous sea view!   The Windsor Hotel was the perfect location. It was close to all amenities and we could view the whales from our room. We had to leave early on Sunday morning and at 04h30 the night watchman let us out and gave us our packed breakfasts which were wonderful.
