Phil and Margi were perfect hosts, we stayed for five nights and found the location ideal for the Kruger and other places of interest in the area. Phil was always ready to give the relevant and correct information! Starting the days off with the terrific breakfast and ending them with a good glass of wine with Phil and Margi and plenty of interesting conversation. Travelling information

■ By car

▪ From Johannesburg, take the N12 to Witbank and change onto the N4 to Nelspruit.
▪ From Pretoria, take N4 through Witbank to Nelspruit.

- From Nelspruit, take the R40 North to White River (passing straight through Rocky Drift).
- In White River, turn left at the 1st set of traffic lights (with White River Toyota ahead of you).
- Follow the signs directing you to Hazyview and Wildtuin/Kruger National Park.
- Turn right at the next set of traffic lights, the school grounds should be on your left.
- Continue straight ahead at the next set of traffic lights.
- Turn left onto the R40 at the final set of traffic lights (Caltex Garage on your right).
- Continue on this road for about 45km, until you reach a T-junction.
- Turn left and continue a further 2km, until you reach the 2nd set of traffic lights.
- Turn right onto Portia Shabangu Road, direction of Kruger Gate.
- Continue straight ahead at the 1st stop intersection (shopping Centre on your right).
- Pass Kruger Park Lodge on your left.
- Turn left onto Albatross Street at the 4-way street.
- Continue past the Video Shop and Bush Burgers Take Away.
- Turn right onto Tarentaal Road at the stop sign at the end of the street.
- Turn left onto Eagle Street.
- Turn left again, onto the 2nd road – Blue Jay Lane.
- The lodge is 100m from the corner, on your left-hand side.
