I would like to say a big thank you to the Hotel Manager(i think his name is Lunga) who was on duty. Although he is so young, he was so polite, professional and very respectful. Also the staff at breakfast, they we very friendly. The hotel is very clean and safe which made our stay very comfortable. Once again thank you to all the hotel staff. Location, Location, Location WOW nobody can beat the place. The staff are very nice including the General manager. Nice and clean facility close to biggest shopping mall in Durban named Gateway Mall lots of restaurent. close to beach and every place. Love it................

This was really heartwarming. Thank you!. The hotel rooms are very comfortable and cosy. The ambience,the hospitality and professionalism of the staff. The food, the view, the pool and just everything. And of course the prices that are relatively affordable. The staff was exceptional, we were treated nicely. I needed an iron in the morning and it was delivered quickly and to me that was perfect as i was in a hurry to go to the sea. Friendlyness of staff. Reception and breakfast on a floor above the entrance (very nice)! =No overcrouded entrance! Safe parking area with a security guard!. The room was fantastic. The staff was super friendly. There was no problem with us booking in early. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was amazing!!. The costs for two people inclusive of breakfast was a deciding factor when looking for accommodation. The location was perfect, the food at the restaurant and above all the hotel was spotlessly clean. The stuff was friendly and the hotel is next to the mall and 5 minutes drive away to the beach. We went across the road to the shop to buy some milk etc, (this was about 5pm) it took us 1 and a half hour to get back to the hotel as the traffic was just to heavy-yet the shop is 2 minutes away. Just a suggestion maybe the hotel can look to opening a take away in the future. Nothing. Everything was perfect/No complaints/. We booked 2 rooms. Upon check-in (approx. 13h00), only one room was ready. The next morning, housekeeping was at our door at 08h20 asking us what time we were checking out! Fortunately we were about to leave as we had a function to attend but check out is usually 10h30 - 11h00 and they should have waited until we had left. I found this to be very rude seeing as that room was not ready when we checked in. Absolutely nothing I would be lying!!. Breakfast was terrible(scrambled eggs, plain baked beans and pork sausages everyday, with no other options)!!! Double beds were very small, with even smaller duvets!. No room service. No cupboards. Suggestion - You could put mini bars in each room, filled with sweets, colddrinks etc and refill it everyday. You could then invoice client according to what they took out at the end of their stay. Access to the hotel in the dark from the M12 was difficult to establish - need better signing. Getting the electricity in the room to work by inserting my room card was problematic - I had to try many times to get it to work. I could do without this with a late arrival. 1. Water bottles were not provided for drinking purposes (No drinking water supply). 2. Breakfast menu needs to be changed everyday (same menu for 3 days except for 1 dish) 3. Health faucets (in the toilets) to be fixed. 4. Hotel can organise 1 or half day tours as it is very far from the city. I got a smoking room and I asked for a sea facing non smoking room when I initially booked with Booking.com. No mention or signs of covered parking being charged for until you checked out. A hidden cost that left a bad taste as we checked out and drove off. No cupboard in the room. Nothing to complain about. The room was bit small and it didn't give you much space. Breakfast was average. On arrival we were put into a room where other people where already staying. Guess it was human error but a bit annoying. Cleaning staff taking a long time to finish a room - they should rather take a room and complete it however it seems they start and then replace towels later and then even later the coffee / soap - do all at once to minimise impact. I switched rooms and gave them and they asked me to wait an hour to have it cleaned up after last checkout - i came back 3 hours later and it had still not been cleaned. Staff need to be better trained. Housekeeping didnt empty the bins in the room. Be nice to have a minibar with snacks,etc.Didnt have non-smoking sea facing but the problem was rectified. Balcony was very dusty. It dirtied my shoes and then my shoes dirtied the room carpets. That we live so far away we can't come more often... Noisy Air Con. No storage at the room - no wardrobe, only a very small shelf and few hangers. The same breakfast 3 mornings in a row.The fee for the parking, while we did not really have a choice but to pay for it. There was no outside parking available. I’ve asked for a sea view apartment, on arrival there wasn’t any available, that was a little disappointing, but the overall stay was great. The toliet and bath could be of a higher standard...was jamming and overflowing. The mattress was old, my husband and I slept very uncomfortably. Rolled to the middle of the mattress. The breakfast was nice, but after 3 days having the same breakfast, it became a little boring. We were unfairly accomodated a couple was given 2 3 quarter bedroomed. None. Interconnecting rooms are such a downturn!. Your breakfast did not have variety you need to have variety. Was not informed about pay parking , expensive, just added to bill. That the bar closes to early,sould be 24hours. put tubs in all rooms.
