  From the minute we arrived the service was impecable our car was parked no fuss, we were early for the book in but were offered a complimentary beverage whilst waiting and the pleasant surprise we were upgraded to a larger famiy room with the best mountain view ever the convenience of being connected to the shopping mall is also a plus the room ... what people say » service was quick and the staff friendly the room amenities were great and the reataurants were out of this world....then breakfast came the buffet se - We were overnighting prior to a long flight the next day to Dubai/Kabul. This could not have been a nicer stay. Car parked, check in seamless, room very nice. Our view was an ocean view which was great. The convenience to the waterfront activities and shopping was excellent. Late night coffee and cake in front of the fireplace was superb. The breakfast buffet was possibly the best we have had, just fabulous. Staff were all on their game, excellent service.

  The staff, location, facilities and access to The One and Only Hotel's restaurant for breakfast were all fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff who assisted us with booking tickets and tours during our four days in Cape Town. Our apartment 504 with views of the V&A Marina and a backdrop of Table Mountain was pure luxury... what people say » and walking distance to great shopping and restaurants. We will definitely recommend and will stay at Lawhill again on our next trip to SA. - The Lawhill Apartments far exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with a fantastic view of the waterfront. Each bedroom had a very comfortable bed and an en-suite bathroom. We had more room than we needed. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. If I have a chance to go back to Cape Town, I would definitely try to stay here again.

  Honestly say this is one of the best if not the best hotel I haver stayed in. Staff amazing, cinema for the kids, lazy leopard bar for great cocktails food and views, best hotel breakfast I have ever had and rooms to die for. Just amazing - Staff very friendly and efficient. Very good wine tasting with food pairing in restaurant.

  I usually stay at the Waterfront and only chose the Taj out of neccesity because everyone else was full with Argus bookings. I was very pleasantly surprised. This is an excellent 5 star hotel at a fraction of the cost of some competitors. The city location is vibrant and interesting.
