I being solo traveller, it was nice. Convenient, help ful staff. Specially anngy. As i was solo traveller i was imformed when i should be out N when not. Where should i go and where not. Guys at backpacker had all information what and where i can find things. And food. I like the week idea. Where we can choose for movie nite of touring capetown in group. Infact cycles where also easly avaliable for some rands. And pick and drop from airport aswell with few rands. Breakfast was also nice. Speaci.
all reviews » On arrival we were welcomed by friendly and efficient staff. Our "dorm" room was a welcome surprise, the bedding was crisp and clean, the bed was invitingly comfortable. A lot more than what we expected, there were enough plugs and adapters even. Breakfast was the cherrie on top. The kitchen staff were accommodating and although it was a continental breakfast, special effort was made and we had freshly prepared fruit salad and savoury muffins as an addition. Overall I would recommend it ANYTIMe. I have never stayed in a hostel quite like Atlantic Point! They have free wifi and computers with webcams to skype. The Braai (bbq) on a Wednesday is amazing, and the free breakfast every morning is a real treat (Especially the muffins!). The private rooms are just brilliant, better than most hotels! Lastly the location is perfect, just a short distance to the waterfront and the City centre! Thanks guys!. The staff were very helpful and were able to advise well on good places to eat out, activities and a really affordable cab service. Also got to meet interesting people and made many friends despite travelling alone. What did I like? The whole package. I had a great time even though a short stay - the people, the food, the atmosphere were all spot on. Looking forward to next time!. Very friendly staff, the room was fun, clean and comfy. The kitchen was very clean, inviting and functional. Breakfast was pretty good too. Everything was really nice, the staff, breakfast, dishwasher, dorms, hostel itself. This is a hostel like it should be :-). The staff is young and friendly;you meet people from all nations;its a place where you can almost feel like home. I liked the two German girls working the desk. They went out of their way to help us. Very nice international staff, very clean. Breakfast is good, though not spectacular. I like the friendly stuff...and that I ment new friends from all over the world. - breakfast - free usage of computers and wifi - helpful staff. Staff was friendly and helpfull. Facilities was great. nice breakfast, good location. everything is great. everything. Handwash to be provided please. Rest everything was perfect. Nothing to worry in atlantic just pack your bag and book in atlantic point. Nothing!. I'm generally really chilled so there wasn't much to dislike. If you're looking for 5 star accommodation - this is not it. But if you're looking for a budget friendly facility and you're up for an adventure then I definitely recommend Atlantic Point!. Nothing to dislike!. the shower drain wasen't working perfectly;. For getting into town where most of the bars are (i.e. Long Street) it is recommended to take a taxi - can get expensive if you go there a lot... The linen was not change everyday. - nothing. 22h30 "quiet time" needs extension to midnight. a bit crowded during breakfast time, the building is being remodeled now, so a lot of construction is going on, without running water during the day. The international staff does not know much details what is going on in the city. a bit difficult to find the place at the beginning.
