A truly delightful boutique hotel ideally located on the fringes of Camps Bay and a few minutes walk from the buzz of the main town. Our ocean facing rooms were reasonably spacious and quiet but had good sized bathrooms. The breakfasts were truly great, well displayed and varied and the serving staff went out of their way to please. The choice was simply amazing! Our party was particularly impressed with all the staff and management who went out of the way to ensure that all our needs and inqui.
all reviews » Great hotel with very simply decorated rooms. We stayed in an ocean view room with a great balcony overlooking the beautiful blue sea of camps bay. Breakfast was very good with different offers each day! The muffins are amazing!! The staff was very welcoming and always ready to help and organize activities/tours. It takes around 5 to 10 minutes walking to get from the hotel to Camps Bay, which is great since it is quieter than the hotels present on the main road. We loved our stay at 3 on Camps. Everything. Great location, great staff, superb breakfasts and the most amazing hosts, Maria and George. We were travelling with 2 teenagers so the facilities and location were excellent and suited us all. We elected not to hire a car (we have always hired one before on holidays) so walked to seafront ad restaurants - 5 mins max - and used SPORT taxis (as recommended by George) everywhere else - the best combination as no need to find parking up at Table Mountain etc. Location is brilliant and the views are spectacular from the deck. The hosts especially Maria was very nice and helpful. They also have a very good breakfast spread. They went out of the way and offered us complementary wine and chocolates when briefly the toilet malfunctioned (but was fixed at the earliest). Such a lovely place to stay. The rooms were nice and clean with beautiful mountain or sea view. Breakfast was perfect and the staff and owner were always really helpful and very welcoming. Excellent establishment, I travel a lot and wish I could find more hotels like this one. Would definitely go back there!. We basically flew in from Johannesburg for a party down the road in Camps Bay so it was prefectly located for us. We were out fairly early to fly back to Jhb but the staff and facilities were great! Would of loved to have seen more of the place! Next time!. Everything about 3 on Camps Bay was excellent, the only one thing, we wish we could have stayed even longer than three weeks George, Maria, Lisa and all the wonderful staff made us so welcome and the breakfast was excellent as well Thankyou to you all. Very well situated guest house/hotel with sea views and excellent accommodation comprising a big terrace with access to cooking and dining facilities to a very high standard. Good service at breakfast with was very comprehensive. What a fantastic hotel,fabulous views of the sea,+ mountains,hotel had beautiful decor,food at breakfast time was excellent.staff made us very welcome,we will be returning for sure,a very happy, mr+ mrs Leeder,west midlands. The location is a hop skip from main camps bay beach area. The property is quaint , very green and well maintained. Comfortable and very pleasant. There is nothing I would change. Terrible pillows - flat as pancakes. No pots or microwave in kitchen/tea station to warm up take-away dinner. The personal in-room safe did not work. Walking up the hill to get back from the restaurant strip The rooms are quite small. If I had to name something it was finding the hotel but I phoned the owner and he talked me directly to it. None. n/a. Nothing. We got a very small room though we saw the room next to us in the same category was much bigger . The bathroom was extremely small with the basin too small to wash your face. Ok for a night but a longer stay would be uncomfortable with no space to open bags. Also no help to take bags up at odd hours esp it was raining and got difficult during checkout . The staff did help during check in. Small room for the price we paid. Very average facility for the price paid.

Travelling information

From the Cape Town International Airport: 1. Drive directly onto the N2 Highway, following the City / Cape Town signs. Drive along the N2 Highway following the Sea Point / Waterfront signs until you get to a set of traffic lights which is at the end of the highway. 2. Carry on driving straight up Buitengracht Street following the Camps Bay /Table Mountain Cable Car signs. Buitengracht becomes Kloof Nek Road. 3. You continue driving straight up the mountain until you come to a circle at the top. Continue around the circle and drive down Camps Bay drive, which is a long winding road going down towards the sea. 4. You will pass THE HUSSAR GRILL on your left. Continuing towards the sea, you will cross over a 3-way stop street at Houghton Road. You will note the Veterinary Clinic on your right. 5. Take the first right into First Crescent. DRIVE SLOWLY AS IMMEDIATELY (WITHIN 10 METRES) you will need to turn sharp right into cul-de-sac (at no 23) on your right hand side. We are the third house on the left, no 27 is clearly marked.
