  Great hospitality! The family running the hotel was really friendly and spoke English. The apartment is really big, clean and well equipped. We only stayed for one night, so the location close to the motorway was a plus. The breakfast was really great which was brought to our apratments kitchen in the morning by the owner couple.   This Guest House is conveniently located for visiting Postumia caves (just a few km away on route 6). The owners are very kind and friendly and they speak italian. The room was small but clean and comfortable, including its private bathroom with shower. The room was also equipped with an air conditioner (you have to add 5 euros per day if you wish... what people say » to use it). You can also have a very good breakfast for an extra charge of 5 euros per person. I would strongly reccommend this place for whomever wi - The kindness and friendliness of owners make them very special people. Owners helped us by providing their local knowledge in selection of sightseeing trips on our short stay. The rooms were comfortable and mosquito free as there were screens on outside windows allowing fresh air into room when opening windows.The breakfast was over the top. The selection and quantites were above average. thanks,we enjoyed our stay

  It was my first time staying in Proteus Apartments. Right away I was satisfied that I booked it. First of all because, due to the fact that we were coming in the late evening and the check-in is until 10 p.m., it was 9.40 p.m. and they called us, just to see if everything was alright, due to few minutes to 10 p.m. . The parking was FREE, which is ... what people say » a very rare thing in these days. The man at the reception was very kind, he showed us the rooms and explained us all about the staying. The next day w - Friendly and attentive staff, brand new furnitured and well sized rooms, delicious couisine in own restaurant. Bit higher rates in highest season are partly compensated via appropriate breakfast with full of choice and via discounts you can get visiting most beautifull cave (kras) and castle. Cave is about 5-10 min walk and thus another saves for parking fees. We spent nice time there during travelling accross from Croatia. I can highly recommended for weekend-stay with kids.
