We were so impressed by this place. Everything was sparkling clean, lovely and comfy... Really brilliant. The owner was absolutely awesome. We were arriving late (long after the 10pm check in cut off because of traffic) so called in to let them know to wait for us and they were sooo understanding about it and when we arrived the check in was mega quick so we could go to sleep soon. We were also offered breakfast for 5 euro/ person which was absolutely awesome. Wide selection of hams, salamis, c.
all reviews » The manager and receptionist were very nice and communicative (The manager speaks English). He suggested us a nice hiking trip which starts ten minutes of walking from the hotel. When we came back in the afternoon, it was very cold outside and they offered us two hot tea mugs, which "defrosted" both of us. The sheets and towels were nice and soft. The hotel's design was lovely and the rooms were beautifully decorated. In addition, the view from the room's windows was beautiful. Great views, beautifully decorated room with very comfortable facilities, very friendly owner, beautiful parrot, WiFi in the room!!! (all the hotels I stayed in in Slovakia claimed their rooms have WiFi, but only Vila Polar actually did), and very good location - near various restaurants and several high tatra trails. This is by far the best accomodation I had in my trip. I liked everything. Starting with personnel - friendly and ready to help by advise or other means, room - not big but very comfortable (I had valley wiev - so the sunrises and sunsets pleased me every day), situated near the "Zubacka" so it's easy to get in and the ski area is not far. Actually on Strbske Pleso everything is close... Great view from the windows of the room. Excellent design of the hotel, cleanliness and comfort. Pleasant service staff, delicious breakfast. The hotel in which we want to come back. Very comfortable room and bed, Warm and helpful attitude from the staff, Simple yet very , satisfying breakfast, and an amazing location. perfect location for mountain trips, very friendly staff, tasty breakfast - everything was OK. all was very good. it was a big suprise. we got a 2 rooms suite. Very nice clean place with friendly staff. Very good service. There genuinely isn't anything I can think of. All was spot on Všechno bylo super. In the evening, we looked for a restaurant for dinner, and we had a few minutes of unpleasant walk in the dark and through a relatively abandoned environment. It is very recommended to eat outside before dark hours. I didn't get a photo with coco the parrot :(. Maybe, someone would like more indoor intertainment if the weather is bad, but that's villa - not a hotel. nothing. Huge pillows. :)). None.
