I've stayed at this hotel with my husband twice before, so we sort of became familiar with it. It's great in terms of location, right at the heart of Orchard Road, near all the places I needed to go to while we were there. And through LetsBookHotel.com we got a good rate.

Upon arrival we were told that our room would be available at 12 noon. We returned after 13.00 and still we had to wait for 10 minutes for confirmation on the availabitlity of our room.

We only stayed for one night but everything was good about the hotel. They let us check in early, the staff were very friendly and despite delivering us a faulty cot initially they rectified it immediately with one in good order.

The only negative things about the hotel was that the breakfast seemed expensive, the internet was not free and locals were not familiar with the hotel and therefore could not help with directions.

I have always stayed in this hotel. I think this is my 4th time to stay here. The location is perfect!

Nothing really. Taxi cabs do struggle with the change in name. I always needed to mention the old hotel name before they made sense of where I wanted to go.

No problems. Even an initial issue where staff put us in a room which had been "used" was sorted by them immediately with minimal fuss and effort required by us. No other problems at all.

There was no airconditioning in the lifts!

My husband and I were really sick on our last night and Evelyn was brilliant to us, handled the doctor and helped in every way possible, she is to be recommended for her efforts on our behalf.

We were very happy with the hotel, just for us, milk in the fridge would be good, but that is all.

The room is nice and bigger than the other hotels I've stayed so far. Near shopping malls and restaurants.

Location, staff were friendly, and food ameneties were good and close.

A lack of working technology. Radio wasn't working except for a singlechannel; tv at times was fuzzy....but nothing dramatic and substantiallyimportant.

We checked in very early in the morning without any problems. Room was good size and very comfortable. Airconditioning worked well. After checkout our luggage was securely stored for us all day. Great location in middle of Orchard Road shopping area. Would stay here again.

The location is excellent and is in the center of Orchard Road.

The gym facilities need to improve. Not even a treadmill in the gym whihc is a basic in a gymnasium.

Initial room allocated was not what we requested - non-smoking and double bed. However, was changed immediately upon request.

The staff - nothing was too much trouble

My room looked out over the vback of the hotel - there was a lot ofnoise from the AirCon extractor fans in other buildings - the gym wassmall and cramped - there was no running machine

Location and staff was great. Room was spacious.

No ramp for children stroller at the exit of hotel. Price was not same as in the booking, example weekend rate was not included, have to pay a flat rate for the whole 4 nights. The male tour desk guy was very rude when we decline his offer.There is no early check in as our flight arrive at 10 am, have to wait till nearly 2 pm.

I enjoy to be on Orchard Road where the fairy of New Years was present and very lively, very close to the tourist office for information about tours in Singapor.

The access to the swimming pool was not great throw the service stairs!!

The staff at the reception counter and the bell boys are friendly and helpful. At the same time the housekeeping service is excelletnt. I can just call for something additional like towels, pillows, iron, etc and they will be made available fast without any restrictions. It would be good if the hotel has a list of halal food outlets around the area where muslim guests can go to eat.

Though the decor was a bit outdated, but the room was spacious enough for me and my family. Since we have n choice but to stay on the smoking floor, the hotel might want to do somethng with the ciggarette smell that was quite overwhelming along the corridors.

There was a promotion till the 31 Dec 2008 that said complimentary breakfast for saturday and sunday for superior room, but when we check in, we were told that the promotion was ended. We are disapointed.
