I love the Jacuzzi. It was a good place to relax and unwind after the long travel. Thank God the showers has an actual place to rest your toileteries on, which some other hostels seem to ignore. Beds are comfortable and the idea of limiting guests to only 4 people per room is a must have if you need to rest, which is hard for other hostels to say due to all the traffic of people moving in and out.

Location was ideal near the MRT station and bus stop. Peaceful and friendly staff. Description from the mRT could have improved. I used the wrong exit from the MRT (I turn right insead of left) and had a hard time finding Horne Road.
Raymond at reception area is very helpful and friendly.

Nice location, only a minute walk to bus station and 5mins walk to Lavender MRT station. Staff are friendly, especially Raymond.
The room is completed with locker and sensor key. The air-conditioner worked very well, which was good for us since singapore has humid and hot temperature.
The shower room and toilet are not attached to our room, but there are 5 shared shower rooms and 2 toilets on 1st floor. Since we got up early every morning, we had not have to wait to use both shower room or toil.
The room is rather small but it is clean and most importantly the bathrooms are clean. The hostel is near to the MRT station which makes it very convenient to us.

I had a really hard time accessing my locker because it was right behind the bed and I could hardly get my things out of there.

My room was on the top floor (4th flr) with no lift! It would help to have a buzzer on each floor to call an errand-boy to help us with our needs e.g. from the nearby store.

We've got triple room with bunk bed which was too small for 3 of us who often got bumped to each other. But yeah, it's a backpacker hostel not a 5stars hotel, right.
The hotel charged us SGD 30 per person as deposit, SGD 90 in total. They'll give the bucks back upon our check out. We're budget travelers and such amount of money was too big. We made a deal, and the staff agreed to return SGD60 before our check out day.
The staff we met when we check in the hostel was not really friendly.
Staff wasn't as helpful as I hoped for, the internet was horrible for the 3days i was there, couldnt get a connection at all and when the guests asked the staff there, they just shrugged it off.
Sometime the shower don't have the hot water but its okay.
I didn't like some of the guests make a lot of noise middle of the night . Hope the management should take notice on that.
I stayed in female doom and in that room have other gals , they all know each other and they talked so loud till I cant sleep. And for another room also make noise and sometimes they shout so loud , dont care other peoples.

The wifi coverage is not good.only can use it for 1day but i stay for three days. The sound proof is not good and you can hear people taking on your next door.

The wall paper was ripped off the walls, carpets were dirty, outside showers - would have expected bit more from a Singapore establishment as wasn't that cheap. Needs little bit of tlc on the maintenance. Didn't use any of their facilities as about 5 flights of stairs to get to them.
The accommodation is very noisy, there are ladies shouting in the mid of the night. I couldn't sleep for 2 nights .
