All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and eager to please.Everything was very clean and in good condition.Quiet inside hotel and outside.Close to many eateries, convenience store and bus stop.Comfortable lounge and verandah for guests.I will certainly stay there again on my next trip.Excellent value for money.
Small cozy hotel. We didn't see any insects. The view from the room was on the condos' swimming pool. I liked the area around hotel. We staid 4 days after Formula-1 in Sg and it was the best choice, because the prices of others hotels were so high!. all reviews »
Central location, good value for money. Tiny bathroom which is ok for me but if you like your sanitary spacious then this is not the place for you. Opposite Shaw mall which has a supermarket and a cinema.
There's specific place for all my things even though the room is small. Also, the room is well kept by the staff and it is always neat

Small but well-designed and comfortable rooms. Aircon is clean and effective. It's a bus ride to the MRT station but the bus stop is only a few moments walk from the hotel.

It was quiet. Cleanliness was ok, although not excellent. Many eateries nearby. It may seem badly located but bus stops are just next to the hotel and getting to the MRT is a matter of minutes by bus. It is located near the city, so even by taxi it's less than 10 minutes to the main hotspots ($5-$7). It's good for short term stays and stopovers.
I stayed in Aqueen for a night.I found the hotel to be very good in terms of location, price & facilities.You have an Indian restaurant right in front of the hotel beside many eatieries around. Also bus stop is just across the road.Bathroom is very small but than that's what you get in Singapore in this price.

Location, but for us it was good experience - we saw the city not like just the tourists. Bus station is nearby hotel, then five minutes by bus to mrt Novena.

The train station (Novena) is a bit far away. However, there's a bus stop very close.
As a Senior citizen, I was taking the taxi always but my other
companions find it quite far from the subway.

the last two days I was stay in smoking floor, bit smelly, but not a big problem, and the stuff were try really hard to get the smell away.

Nothing seriously bad. The rooms are small (way smaller than they appear in the pictures), but to anyone who has been in Singapore before this fact should be known. Space is scarce there. The aircon cannot be controlled (no remote).
the bar beside the lobby, could be good, could be dodgy, depending on the crowd that evening. but not a big deal. just strange.
Location. Its 15mins walk from mrt. Although bus connects you well with mrt but that takes away roughly 15 to 20mins.
No cafe in the hotel..so I had to rely on nearby mcdonalds everyday. Also no room service available.

The fact that the hotel doesn't have a fridge. And some of my medicines need to be stored at certain temperature makes it difficult.
Heavy, fire drill gone off and staff got confused where to lead the guests. They asked us to go back to our rooms. But the sound of the fire drill was so loud that it hurts our hearing and forced us to find a way out of the building.

Room was to smal. but the room is too small and not suitable for family with kids. I hope the customer (especially like me bok online) could be informed on the constraint. .
The staffs particularly one who after some arguments consented to let me have a late checkout (1pm) but on that day rang me to vacate the room at 12pm! I had stayed there for 6 nights and it was my 2nd visit .So I feel they do not appreciate me as a regular guest.
