Opposite Raffels, at the bottom end of Orchard Rd an - This is a great hotel in a central location right above City Hall MRT Station, with easy walking to the Harbor areas and the Singapore Flyer etc. We travelled from the airport via the MRT for S$2.40 (£1.20 approx.) Concierge were most obliging from local advice and knowledge, luggage security once checked out etc. The room was very comfortable with a work desk area which was most helpful. Would look to stay here again when traveling to Singapore.

It was also a relatively good value during the F1 Grand Prix time, everything really jumped in price. We were going to stay at a different hotel, but found an acceptable price at the Pan Pacific, we are so happy for that, it was much nicer than the alternate hotel, which we did stay one night.

Its a mid sized hotel so its homey but classy at the same time. What I loved most thoug - The whole experience was one of 100% satisfaction. The property its grounds and all of the facilities were 1st class. No it is not on one of the main shopping streets but it is just a short walk to Orchard road and one of the best mrt underground stations (a major intersection of 4 different lines) in Singapore. To have the vibrant city of Singapore at your feet combined with the tranquility and luxury of the Fort Canning was the perfect combination for us. 5* Hotel but not pretentious. Pool Gy
