Very friendly and helpful staff. I arrived earlier than planned and the owner very kindly allowed me to rest in the common area until a bed became available.
maybe I was just lucky, but other patrons in dorm very considerate of others sleeping. Not a party party place. I hope it stays that way, and I will lodge there again.

I liked the location, 1 min walk from Arab St.
Nearby amenities, restaurants, 7-eleven and ATM machine.
The owner was incredibly friendly and they had the most coomprensive guides inside the Hostel.
As soon as you walk in there is a wall full of useful information. Every place you want to visit is there! Complete with the route you need to take. Well done!
The shower, Internet and shared bathroom where always cleaned.
I will certantly recommend it.

Loved the central location. It was a 10 min walk from the Bugis MRT and closer to bus stops.
Plenty of restaurants down Arab Street and adjoining streets and hence one has a good choice of reasonably priced meals. Many curious shops down Arab Street and adjoining Haji Lane to sate one's appetite.

hi all. I really just can recommend the shophouse and would always come back there if I will be in Singapore again. It is central in a nice district with a lot of restaurants and cafes. It has on every level free wifi, a awesome terrace, two Mac pcs and two windows (free) and a lot of lovely details. Great service what helped me come around and getting trips cheaper. surprisingly offered early check-in. Rooms were small but clean and
comfortable. Our room had a big window with street view.
The breakfast (buffet) was included in the fare. It was tasty and sufficient.

Nice decor. Although shared beds as a Hostel, the environment remains quiet and without losing privacy.

I can say that Five Stones hostel is really a good place to stay. The location is excellent, it's near restaurants, bars and tourist attractions. Transportation is not a problem at all. The bus stop is right at the doorstep. The young staffs are friendly and very accommodating. The place itself is generally clean. I will definitely stay at the hostel the next time I pay a visit to Singapore. :) I enjoyed my stay.

This hotel was awesome. All the staff so friendly to assist us from the
beginning of our stay. They provide us the largest room (We went to
Singapore with 3 Adult + 1 Child). All rooms equipped with
Tea/Coffee making facilities, daily mineral water, Hair dryer, etc.
Also no noise.
Recommended for people who loves budget hotel and near to MRT (Nicoll Highway MRT Station).

we stayed 2 days here, first day in double room with a shared bathroom, the room is clean the bathroom also clean. the 2nd day we stay the the triplet room and yey we get a private bathroom, its simple and super clean. i love the dining area, its soooooo nice, we usually go there before we go to sleep and enjoy the hot chocolate + snack (bring ur own snack =D )

Liked the apartment facilities especially as i was travelling with my 2 year old daughter. Was great having the washing machine/dryer & breakfast downstairs was a highlight for my "cafe" going girl. Staff were extremely helpful as my daughter developed chicken pox on our 2nd day in Singapore & helped with an apartment move & offered assistance. Much appreciated.
