The hotel was very clean, the staff helpful. Although the hotel is slightly away from the Mosque, they have 4 shuttle buses (24 hrs service), which provide excellent service running pilgrams to and from the mosque, running roughly every 10 to 15 mins. It was a busy period as the Saudi schools where on holiday, but it took about 5 mins to reach the drop off point leaving a 5 to 10 minute walk. It is worth mentioning Mr. Rami in the reception who has a very friendly approach and went out of the way to help me with the reservation in another city voluntarily. He also provided me with a good option to upgrade my booking to a interconnected two room which was very helpful for us. Overall, this hotel is good and recommended. I like the cleanless and comfort of the hotel. Another important feature is transportation to al Haram almost every 20 minutes for 24 H. Hotel staff are friendly and helpfull. They can arrange Taxi to airport with reasonable cost. The food quality is fair but not special. There are two shops in the ground floor (reasonable prices). Food price was resonable. The Hotel is one of my best experiences in Mecca , I was somehow worried about choosing this hotel as it is 1.5 Km away from the Haram , but the shuttle bus service was excellent , the hotel's hospitality & services as well as the luxury level was quite outstanding & excellent , the receptionists are very pleasant & the room service is quite clean , the restaurant & even the parking. IT is located little away from Masjidul Haram but the availability of the shuttle service round the clock helped us go to the Haram anytime we desired. Our stay was wonderful and we would like to stay in Al Qura again when we go to Mecca for Umrah. The hotel is clean, the staff are very helpful and friendly. The round-the-clock shuttle service to the Masjid-al-Haram helped us in performing our Umrah and salats at the Masjid greatly. The brekfast was great. My children liked this hotel very much and we would like to return to this hotel whenever we go for umrah. They also provide free parking at the hotel. Value for money and bus service are good enough to compensate its distance from HARAM. You cannot walk to haram as its 2 KM away and hilly road so only option is bus which is usually avaialable within maximum 10-15 minutes period. This is the farthest Hotel from the Haram but the bus service is excellent 2 mins in the bus you get from the Hotel to the Haram, and I never got out of the Haram and didn't find the Hotels's bus waiting. - Good value for money. At the very low rate on offer, I was amazed to see the excellent facilities and services at this hotel. It surely is one of the most comfortable and convenient hotels I have stayed in. If I have my way, this is going to be my hotel of first choice whenever I go to Mecca. The staff were friendly and always on call. The hotel was modern and furnishings were comfortable. The shuttle down to the Haram ran 24 hrs and we never had to wait for it coming or going. The price we paid for our stay included breakfast and the breakfast was excellent. But many closer to the mosque where you could buy from, collect the shuttle to return home.MAYBE During hajj, the hotel would not be a good choice for people with limited physical ability as it would take about 40 mins to walk to. I suspect the buses would not be able to run as frequently due to sheer number of people. The hot water was quiet cold. The Food menu needs Pictures. The Magnet Key Card is always not opening after you close the door. 1. The Air condition is controlled by Maint. Dept so we have to call each time to switch on or off. This I found to be very weird. Although, the call is immediately attended and addressed when you call them. 2. The hotel is quite at a distance from Haram so no chance of going by walk, but the hotel has very good shuttle services to take you to/from Haram. But, not sure how much this shuttle services operation during Ramadan and HAJJ period. I visited Haram off peak season only. The hotel is little far from Al Haram but 24 h transport available to and from hotel frequently. Some hotel guest behaveor were bad when they ride the bus. Not hotel mistake. Just take care about the tight entrance for the parking as its really a sharp and narrow path to go to the basement where the car parking areas are. nothing thanks God hope they will always have these great people. Nothing that I can remember. Bed size for single bed was too small to sleep loosely after tiring routines. There were bed bug signs on my daughter's body which i am not sure were in hotel or somewhwere else. - Wifi is available but not in the room (I was staying the second floor) I had to go to the lobby to get connected. There was nothing I disliked about this luxury, budget-friendly hotel. When we arrived in Mecca, the taxi driver from Jeddah rudely dumped us at the Haram and being new to Mecca we did not know where the hotel was. The reception staff at the hotel did not pick up the phone to direct us. Our room had twin beds, most rooms do. We would have preferred a double bed but we did not mind much. My first night at the hotel I fell asleep at 8 pm after traveling for 24 hours from the U.S.a and I was looking forward to getting a good sleep, two hours afterwards at 10 pm you give a family of four kids or so the room next to mine. I woke up terrified from the screams of the children and it they kept their loud noise for over an hour until I demaned a room change away from the family who couldn't contain their children. YOu shouldn't put families next to adults. All good. Room not carpeted as a 5 star ought to be. Cleanliness not up to the mark. Some items on the breakfast menu were not fresh. Location is not walkable to the haram but the bus service more than makes up for it. The TV had little choices; NO English language news or entertainment channel. The hotel transportation facilities should be improved better. Didn't notice so far. Could have some slippers for the bathrooms... The toilet shower was leaking. Bathroom was not really 5 star. AC went off twice, not sure if it was a malfunction, but it restarted shortly. The hotel is far from Haram and the shuttle bus also drops near Shohada hotel which is still a little hike from Haram. nothing. The behaviour of the shuttle service drivers. They never stopped for the guests except for their designated spots and even the exact spots were not followed. Twice missed the shuttle because of it being parked too far from the stop. i wish the room to be more spacious for 4 people including bathroom. 1. Gps coordinate is wrong, it took us 100 km out of makkah to a remote village. Don't follow Latitude 21.402693001257774, Longitude 39.830441772937775. It is a wrong coordinat. Some times there is a lot of people in the way back from the Haram ,and they don't give priority to families with children I have a suggestion to have more buses. Although the Bus shuttle service is excellent,it becomes problemetic only on very rush days such as fridays. 1. Distance one has to walk between shuttle drop off/pick up point and Harram. 2. Remoteness of facility. No nearby supermarket/restaurant. Breakfast timing was from 7-10, it should have been 6-11 as mentioned in their booklet placed in our room. The distance from Haram was a little far, not really walking distance and the breakfast that was provided was limited and some food items were cold but overall the breakfast was nice. the time between the shuttle buses was sometimes longer than normal ( but it was on friday prayers). Wifi coverage is waek in some rooms.. Nothing. The location was'nt that good. I just wish room have more room for outside light. I think it's a flaw in design, beside that it's 5* experience. - Slow response sometimes from staff on request for guest services or while serving breakfast. - No hot coffee available in breakfast and when I ask the waiter , he said to me there is hot water and Nescafé !.
